Praying is part of it, but there are no shrines to any gods that seem to provide luck that I've been able to easily locate.

It's less about making sure it's a shrine than it is finding somewhere that feels right. It couldn't hurt to try different places like that.

There are very few places in this world that feel right to me.
Though I will not hesitate to try additional means to obtain luck regardless.

That's fair. This world is unsettling in a lot of ways.
But playing by its rules might be a better starting point than asking about other worlds. I could tell you my spirit used to bring me good luck too, but it doesn't mean anything here.

Just because some peoples' means are not possibly in this world does not mean that everyone's does. I can look up this world's at the library. I cannot do that for a multiverse worth of cultures.

What kinds of places feel right to you normally, anyway?

The basketball court.
They do not have any here.

What do those look like?

They're large, rectangular surfaces painted with specifically measured lines in alignment with the game's rules and two baskets with backboards are either end. Court size varies depending on whether it's a high school, street, or professional court.

If you find somewhere to put it and measure it all out, couldn't you pray there for luck?

I can't pray on a basketball court regardless.

[ He's more a miracle himself on the court than someone who asks for them. But it's still the place where he feels has the most energy for him to channel. ]

I don't have the construction equipment to build a court.

That's too bad. Having a place that puts you at ease is pretty useful sometimes.

[ It would be if he could. Midorima would be a thousand times less tense if there was somewhere for him to properly practice his shots. There isn't, and that's a shame. But he's studying his alchemy hard, so maybe someday soon he'll be able to alchemize an entire gym. (If he can.. afford the materials to alchemize with, anyway.) ]
