Hey everyone! I'm Morgan, and I've been studying martial arts for a while now. I know a lot of us showed up here without any of the magic or powers we had back home, some people never had any, and some aren't used to protecting themselves the way the quests and general area around here expects. So for people who'd like, I'm offering to teach.

'Course martial arts also offers confidence, good health, discipline, and a side of acupressure massage technique if that's a selling point. And if you already know some I'm happy to work with you to improve them more, and maybe my own too at that rate.

Well I can definitely help anyone that wants to learn how to properly work a lance and shield style. That's my strongest discipline.

[Oh! What was this? She watched the video and sat back, considering. She was supposed to be practicing her ninja skills every day but she kind of... hadn't been... here. She probably should, just in case she got back home and somehow the role was still there for her?]

[She decided to type a reply since she hadn't ever used a phone with a camera that faced her before.]


"Um... do you teach sword work too?"

[She considered that then went hunting for a sword emoji, since Mr. Tsuruga said even he didn't mind decorated emails sometimes. Not finding one, she tried to draw one with the characters on her phone, but it was harder than she expected, since she'd never tried to make a sword before. Also, not having a key for KO made it harder, so she had to improvise.]

Absolutely. Martial arts will come as a side to that, though. I emphasize physical fitness in addition to technique.

[Since she's still struggling to figure out how to access her magic. It's been at least told to her that Ochako has elemental magic, but nothing has worked in regards to triggering it, and looking to her familiar for answers has proven fruitless. The white dire wolf only gazes at her almost...mournfully with each attempt. Like she's so obviously missing something. Something obvious, but still unseen.]

[Excitement and laughter are timeless, and in all honesty, Ochako thinks it's kind of charming - she's definitely a little embarrassed at the praise, too. Her skills aren't fully mastered, but they are good - she's been keeping up with her martial arts training for the months since she first learned them, and finally getting to improve and learn more is making her feel super pumped.]

Ehehe, I wasn't going to!! If I can keep one thing from home that I know, I'd like it to be my ability to fight hand-to-hand. Whenever you'd like to meet, I'd be happy to start lessons. [Probably not today - Ochako has literally zero work out gear until she can go shopping to bulk up her wardrobe a bit - but in the very near future, hopefully!] What sorts of styles do you know?

Yep! Understanding the body is necessary to understanding martial arts, and so consequently comes with knowing how to work on it.
