This is more personal curiosity than anything too important but I wanted to ask how many of us have some sort of military experience?

[Yeah, he's sixteen and asking about military stuff. Really normal.]

Military isn't really something I feel like we need here, with the knights and all, but military skills are something I would very much like to keep up with.

Of course I do train with my girlfriend, but interacting with different sorts of military types is important too.

In life, I lead my army through many battles. I would say I have military experience.

[ Fortunately, though it is rude, she doesn't take any insult from it. ] No, a Queen cannot rule a country. At least, that was the case during my lifetime. However, if the king is a good one, then their gender should not matter.

Oh. We have a Queen as a ruler back home. A young girl, like yourself, actually. Not that she has been a ruler for a long time yet.

[Just to give an example that it is possible in some places, at least.] But yeah, I suppose gender doesn't really matter.
