This is more personal curiosity than anything too important but I wanted to ask how many of us have some sort of military experience?

Military isn't really something I feel like we need here, with the knights and all, but military skills are something I would very much like to keep up with.

Of course I do train with my girlfriend, but interacting with different sorts of military types is important too.

I haven't been in my home world for around a year, but I haven't slacked off on training, at least.

Our branch is called the Survey Corps. Basically we fight in the front lines against armies of monsters, trying to reclaim our lost lands. Add in a coup or two.

I am former Navy. I've attempted a coup in the past and have participated in the overthrowing of regimes, though I cannot go into details.

We certainly are. That's why we have the symbol of wings of freedom.

Yes, the Navy patrols the seas. Japan is an island country; we have a lot of it.

Wings are used for the Air Forces in my world. I assume you do not have flight in yours?

Ah... technically we don't. I guess using our specialized weaponry looks as if we're flying. Though all of our military branches use the same gear.

[They just use it for actual murder outside the walls.]

But we don't have any other ways of flying.

I'm only familiar with ships or I would provide you with blueprints to take home for planes.

Those would definitely be useful... I appreciate the thought. If we manage to find the ocean though, we might have a need for ships that last longer than the ones used in our rivers.
