and it's one week until valentine's day
i wonder if this place even has valentines day... hm

i dont mind working i like working but i dont care about money
i should just be able to have the stuff i wanna have
sucks you come from a snowy place tho
where im from it was sunny most the time and if the sky leaked it leaked NORMAL WATER not werid white water
and since it was pretty warm all the time i didnt NEED shoes. i NEVER wore shoes until
actually until coming HERE ha
cant go out in the cold and the snow with no shoes. gotta wear so many extra clothes too. its anoying. back home i wore a shirt and shorts, thats it, i was fine
but lol wearing shoes is way more uncomfrtbale than stepping on rocks lol are you kidding
i grew up on an island with tons of rocks and NO shoes
if you cant handle stpeping on rocks you really must not get out much huh?

only time i needed shoes back home was on my boss's fishing boat and even then
after i got hired for real, i stopped wearing shoes on the boat cus i was swimming half the time to herd the fsh

me and my friends are gonna build our own boat so we can go fishing in the lake
theyve never been fishing or on a boat they didnt have an ocean where their from
so itll be great for them!
AND if there are lots of fish in the spring like it is back home then im gonna try and sell what we catch!

Which is kind of a bummer, I guess? But it doesn't mean you can't celebrate if you want to.
I don't really have anything I'd want to confess anonymous or otherwise, either? I'm pretty content here. It's better then the last place I ended up and I managed to end up here with my boyfriend from that place too, so I feel pretty lucky. Like, my life at "home" wasn't really awful or anything? But I feel like I've been pretty lucky through this whole multiverse traveling thing so I can't complain now that I'm somewhere I don't need to worry about losing control of myself or getting some shitty magical disease.
Well, okay, I do think it's weird that talking to ghosts is like, a magic thing? Because that's super not how it worked back home. But that's minor stuff.

The place was called Aefenglom - or, well, that was the city most of us ended up living in. People could end up with new magic there, same as this place, but it was entirely different from both what we've got going on here and what was possible back at my home. Other people, though, would turn into a monster. Like, that's what everyone was called and there were different types of monster someone could turn into. I ended up turning into a faun - so I was part sheep, part person but now I'm just a vanilla human again. There were also things like vampires, dragons, pucas which are like bunny people? And a bunch more.
But yeah, back home I could talk to ghosts? Like, that was basically my whole job. I can do it again here, but it's different from how it's supposed to be.

Yeah, whatever magic I got stuck with lets me talk to the dead. I can also like, reanimate things if I wanted to ever have a skeleton army which I guess is cool if I wanted to become a total edgelord.
The magic here seems to be able to do just about anything... What have you figured out you can do so far?

Though it was easier going back to having normal human feet then going to hooves.
I feel like... reanimation is a bit of a complicated thing? Like, there is the difference between just. Bringing back a corpse as a corpse you puppet and bringing someone fully back to life, soul and all, and the magic I do is mostly the former so it's... weird.
Idk which is better or worse.
Sometimes the dead have really interesting stories, so I'd say it's well worth talking to them if you can. Some of them are assholes, though.

its meant to be a time where you celebrate with
the person you love or people you care about!!
gifting chocolate is just one way to do that
