four🌼 text ( post-event)

( In Asriel's opinion, it's always better to make a text post when he's upset about something. He doesn't want to worry anyone, especially when he's well aware that he's someone who's rather sensitive. He just has a brief question to ask as it is. )

... We never really know when people leave when they do, huh?

Do you think that the people who leave ever come back...?

( It's hard not to miss friends that he's not sure he'll see again. He's lost people important to him before -- but at the least, those he know who have left are going home. Not only that, but they're going to back to a home where they still have friends and family waiting for them.

He just wishes he had a chance to at least say good bye. )

[A home, huh. He never really thought of it like that much either. Perhaps because nothing has ever been a home to Akechi since his childhood. Even his apartment back home only had the basic bed and whatever else he needed for his investigations.]

And this home could easily tear them away if so desired.

[Bitter. So bitter.]

What about you?

[He won't reply to the first comment, simply because he doesn't want to admit it. The bitterness in him refuses to think about it.]

So the same as myself, then.

[Probably. Jury is still out if Atlus wants to milk it.]

So you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you consider this place a way to continue to live, then it is, at the very least, comforting. Personally, I hate when others attempt to control my life. It already happened once.

Don't pity me either.

[Perhaps Asriel means well, but Akechi is, well, Akechi.]

Not quite like what had happened before, no. In my world, a pitiful man thought he could control the world and end the suffering if only they let him do what he wanted but...being railroaded isn't living at all. And while I wouldn't say we are forced into a role here, we were brought with a purpose in mind.
