Why not? Knives are meant to be used. It's going to get dull and rusty again if you're not taking care of it, you know.

I did use it on some pumpkins a few months ago, and I have been taking care of it. Someone else on this thing showed me how to do that much!

[Chara is most assuredly wanting to use the knife, but also like. Kind of hard to stab people when you have a goody two shoes sibling around.]

Oh, that's good! [She looks content with that, nodding to herself as she holds the phone up over her head. She almost (jokingly) suggests that they use the knife on the provocative calendar people... but remembers at the last moment that she shouldn't be encouraging dangerous things.]

Pumpkins are good and all, but there's usually a bunch of quests that don't mind if you hack too many things up. Free knife practice.

I've seen some of those quest postings, yeah. I just have a feeling they wouldn't like having a kid show up to do that kind of stuff.

Well, why not? That's a silly reason to refuse help. If you can do the job--and if you want to do the job, why does it matter how old you are?

Because for some reason fighting is one thing adults seem to draw the line at, yet seeing them half-dressed is a-okay.

[It's difficult to tell, but Klaudia is definitely rolling her eyes at that. And smiling a little.]

Well if you're old enough to look at their gross intimates, then you're old enough to fight some creatures. Next time you want to go on a quest, let me know. I'll go with you. Let's see anyone have a problem with that.

[Time to stick it to the man! Apparently not recommending dangerous things doesn't count if she's supervising.]

[Klaudia is totally on Chara's short list of cool adults, which she was already kind of on due to not being human anyway.]

I'll keep you in mind for if I do just that.

[Well, it's nice that at least one person considers her an adult (because she certainly doesn't). The cool part is on point, though. Indisputable, even.]

Awesome~ I'll keep an eye out, too. I'm sure something will crop up. Or we can just find our own quest to do. Hunting's a thing--there's animals out there.

Hm, I'm not too big on hunting...

[Chara's got a soft spot for non-humans after all, so hunting always struck them as a not so good thing. Unless it's like, needed to be done for like food. Monster Hunting is a whole kettle of fish for them.]

No? Not even for food? [She doesn't do any kind of game-hunting herself, and especially not for sport, but she's been learning how to fish a little bit. Self-sufficiency is important to her.]

I mean, for food is okay. As long as it's what you need and not any more than that. [Chara isn't a full-blown vegan or anything like that, they have enjoyed a glamburger or two after all, but they are very much of the "take only what you need" mindset.]
