The camera is pointed at him sitting outside on a stump, clearly somewhere on the city outskirts where the civilization thins out and becomes countryside, but there is a building complex of some sort visible in the background.]

Hey. I'll make this pretty quick. Some of you might remember Tanaka. He was running an animal shelter and a stable while he was here, and I was working for him. But now that he's gone . . . I wasn't about to abandon the wildlife he was taking care of, but he was an Animal Mage. I'm not. And with all the animal refugees coming in after the crisis, there's a lot more work to do, and I'll have to expand.

[He pauses here, glancing behind himself back at the compound before he looks back at the camera—or at least, he faces it. One gets the impression he wouldn't be making eye contact if there were eyes there to contact.]

. . . I probably should've edited together some kinda tacky video with footage of adorable animals in need and some sad music, but I didn't, so instead I'll just say that if anyone wants a job, I'm looking for Animal Mages, Healers, and anyone else who's good with wildlife or has veterinary or equestrian experience. And if anyone finds a sick, injured, or stray animal that needs rehab or a permanent place to stay, you can bring it here. We can board and care for horses, too, if you've gotten one recently and need a place for it. Let me know if you're interested in helping out.

[They can be bad at social skills together, and that works out just fine. In any case, Kadoc's getting a good response, so his mood is pretty good too, even if he's mostly showing it by looking slightly softer and lighter than usual.]

No, that's perfect. That's way more than I've got, and I'm the one running the place. Most of my past wildlife experience comes from hunting and research, not personally caring for animals. It gives me an edge over someone completely inexperienced, but you'll have a lot more than I can offer.

Well, I definitely ain't a professional, but I got life experience! I used to live and work on my parent's dairy farm. We took care of a few horses because it's easier to herd the cattle to pasture with them. I could give you some advice on how to take care of them or any livestock that you might come across. I'll even volunteer to help feed and tend to the other animals' needs too because that's a lot of work!
