Hey! Um, I mean, Hi there everyone..! [Something nudges her arm from just out of frame, and Althea sighs and slumps her shoulders slightly, trying to relax]

Ok, ok. My name is Althea, I'm.. new, which I'm told is a common enough occurrence that you all probably already know that.

I guess I'm trying to find out ways I can help..? I come from somewhere with a lot of technology, I lived in a school for a while so I'm good with learning and teaching others, and I want to make sure I learn how to use this magic stuff as quick as possible. [She looked rather serious on this last point, as ability mishaps were somewhat common, often with disasterous results, where she came from.]

So... um, let me know if anyone needs anything or can point me in a direction for any of that? Thank you all in advance..!

Um, thank you! I... can't really imagine being anywhere and not at least trying to do what I can to help others, especially when we seem to have been brought here to help... sort of? I'm still figuring things out.

It seems I have elemental magic, which matches... some of what I could do back home, but there's a lot more here than I'm used to. What about you?

Oh! That's a relief. That you have the same first type, I mean. I... think I have something with technology on the side, but I'm trying not to think about that until I know I'm not going to mess anything up with the first part.

Could you do elemental... magic, I guess, where you're from? If that's not rude to ask, I mean. I'm not sure what the protocol is for this, sorry.

I can't help you with that - all this technology is new to me. And I could - though back at home I could control the elements - not magic, just controlling my chi.

Raised to? Wow... I think I'm glad to hear it was so different for others than it was for me, but it's also... bittersweet? Other places are just so different, I guess.

[His agreeing has her beaming however, and the earlier thought is dismissed.] Really? Great! I know there are a lot of preparations going on around the city, so I don't want to get in the way of anything if you already have stuff you need to do, but I really appreciate this.
