Oh, that’s why you’re having a hard time right now: the ice is very slippery. It must be really hard to get the timing right with all that slippage and ice everywhere.

I don’t know if melting some of the ice would help either. And I just had ice magic since last month.

Maybe? I haven't really figured out if I can use magic in the game.

The whole world's ice so it might not melt.

Perhaps trying to time those jumps over the pit without losing control of it could help. I haven’t checked if it works all the time though.

It said that in order to get pass this level, you need to a pair of skis and ski poles, build up the momentum through the skis, then you could try to attempt a jump in order to pass the pit.

Not sure if it would work, but it’s worth giving it a shot.

N-no. I was being chased by enemies so I kinda kept going.

Guess I'll have to backtrack.

Just watch out for any enemies that could come for you while finding the ski equipment.

The nice thing about platformers is that they usually have a set pattern. I think I can figure it out.

Uh, is there anything I should worry about on the other side? Or how close am I to the end of the level?

At most, it should be mostly harmless: there are probably some enemies and obstacles waiting on the other side, but it should be a breeze in getting to the next part of the level.

That's a relief. I should be able to make it through that and hopefully get out of the game.
