[Option 1]
[When the camera turns on, Raihan's already facing it with a ready smile. He gives a tilt of his head and a two-fingered wave, and something red passes behind him, too quick to parse what it is.]
Hey there! I'm Raihan, a brand new arrival to this place! I'd be right chuffed to meet all of you [He says this with a wink-], but I've only got two questions at the moment.
First off, anyone here know what Pokemon are? [Because so far, he hasn't met anyone who does, and it's outright maddening to witness a world that doesn't know what they are, let alone not adapted to a life of living alongside them.] If not, I'll gladly show them to you, though that brings me to my next question.
[The red thing passes again, and if one has good eyes, they might find that the face on the back looks a bit concerned before it disappears from view once more.]
Is there a beach nearby? Or at least a big pile of sand and a good-sized tub of water. Even better if the climate is fairly chilly.
[He's jolted by something, as if his hip got shoved, and that easy-going smile of his turns just a bit more strained.]
Oof. And hurry, please. If you wouldn't mind.
[Option 2]
[Later, when all that is settled, Raihan addresses everyone once more. It's that time of evening where a golden glow shines on everything, including Raihan himself. Seems he chose this time specifically for the lighting, as all the golds and pinks just enhance everything.]
Hullo again, everyone! The Great Raihan has another question for you lot!
[As he poses with his hand thoughtfully on his chin, a couple of eyestalks stick up in view just to the side of his jaw.]
I've seen plenty of ways to get money around here, so my question is a bit more specific. How does one go about bringing something here from home, assuming it's possible? I'm missing quite a bit of my team is all, and if the ones I have now were brought to the shite box, then I reckon the rest ought to be as well.

[He said before raising an eyebrow or two.]

[He holds his arm out more and tilts the phone downward, showing how his hoodie pockets shake about aggressively, as if something was writhing in there.]
I've got them in their ball, but I reckon being in an environment they thrive in most can help them calm down and let them get their aggression out without causing any trouble. They all have different environmental preferences, and a beach helps with two of them. The chilly weather would be for the third one.
[Really, Duraludon does not thrive at all on a beach, but desperate times here. Flygon likes sand, Goodra likes water, Duraludon likes the cold. How can he simulate that in a timely manner?]
no subject
I see. Well, the beach would be a pretty good if it does help them out. Although, they would probably have to be careful as there would be a bunch of people around there.
[And on that note?]
But I'm curious, how big are the Pokemon that you have?
no subject
[It's probably not noticeable from the camera, but... yeah.]
Know of a fast way to get there? Last thing we want is for my guys to burst out of their ball and lose their cool in an area like this. [The inn, of course, like all the new arrivals.]
no subject
[Because that's what Jack Frost did a while back!]
And to be honest, I'm not too sure. I suppose the fastest way is to get a horse to go there? However, I don't know if your Pokemon would be willing to wait that long!
no subject
[But before he can go too into that, another shove happens at his hips. Oof.]
I know, I know, hold your Mudsdales, guys! [He directs down at his pockets, and then looks back up at the camera.] They're really not. These are abilities they've had their whole lives, it must be like - No, never mind, no time. Think I can find another one of those carriages? Or horses?
no subject
[As Ken raised an eyebrow or two, he didn't know what else to say. Scratching the side of his face, he looked back at his familiar and then back at the screen.]
To be honest, I'm not sure? But if you really are desperate, I know I had my familiar use an ice pack to cool him down until he managed to find a cooler place?
[If Raihan heard carefully in the background, he may or may not hear a certain snowman laughing.]
no subject
Maybe if I surround his ball with something like that... [Of course he has like, no money, but that's still an idea!]
I hate to ask, but got any spare ice packs there?
no subject
[With that, Jack Frost started to give out a big tongue at his partner before letting out a whine.]
Uh...just tell me where you are and I'll give you some?
no subject
But right, right. No time to dwell on that.]
I'm at the hotel right now, but I'll be heading to the beach soon. Don't want my guys to cause a ruckus, you know?
[Because they can and will tear the place apart, and no one wants that.]
If you're not nearby, think you could meet me there?
no subject
[With that, there was some movement in the background as a certain snowman made a 'Heigh Oh!' sound. It certainly looks like someone was surprised and pushed the side somewhere!]
How many ice packs do you want? I got a couple?
no subject
[There's some movement on his end, too, as he heads from his room down to the lobby, then outside. Might as well meet up with him so they can get this done as quick as possible.]
And thanks in advance, mate.
no subject
[All the while making his way to the Inn! At the same time, a certain snowman was making various noises to keep up with his partner!]
By the way, my name is Ken and it's really nice to meet you.

Give him a second to stare at the screen. What the ever loving fuck just talked to him? It looks like a Farfetch'd, maybe? One that's been stretched out? The non-Galar variant?
He's jolted out of his stupor, however, by another shove to his hips. Right, right. Not everything here is a Pokemon. Not important right now anyway.]
Ah. Good to know. Mild works. Don't have much choice at the moment.
Know of a fast way to get there? My car is a whole world away and my method of flight is throwing a tantrum.

A certain library, you say? Well, I'll have to ask about that later. Looks like I've got a carriage to catch. [He looks down at his pockets, the source of all the mayhem going on.] Alright, lads, it's just gonna be a bit longer, okay?
[And back to the camera, where he gives a wink and a smile.] Cheers, mate!
no subject
[ He is insanely curious about what the hurry is, but he doesn't want to hold him up if he really needs to get going. ]
Good luck!
no subject
Hey mate! [Because he never got the, uh, Farstretch'd's name, so he'll just be mate for now.] Found it. Seems the drivers of these carriages are used to blokes who don't know where they're going.
no subject
Oh great! So is everything all right now? It sounded like there was something going on.
no subject
[And as if right on cue, it looks like an EXPLOSION happens behind him. Sand from the beach cascades upwards, then down, and while he's several feet away from it, some of it lands on him as well.
Still, he smiles. Not even flinching.]
I'd say it's still going on, but it's being handled.
no subject
Wh-What was that?
no subject
[Indeed, Raihan tilts his phone enough to let Fenton see what's going on. Flygon, having made a small crater from landing directly on the beach, uses his wings to throw sand this way and that, and his claws tear at the ground in frustration. The air sings between his wings, and angry roars come from the Pokemon himself.]
He's not the only one. [He lets out a sigh as he lowers his head, then tips it back with a light pout.] Got two other mates who aren't too happy about all this.
no subject
Whoa...what are they?
option one | un: j.porter
[She gives a little wave and a smile.]
I do know what Pokémon are! [Though she would still very much like to see the ones that Raihan has with him.] I've seen them before. You might struggle to find what you're looking for close to Camelot... Is everything all right?
no subject
[If that smile could get any bigger, his face would probably split. Finally! Someone who's heard of them!!]
Oh, which ones have you seen? Do you come from my world, too? Which region, if so? I might-
[-know it, but another hard shove to his hips makes him snap out of it. Right, focus!]
Ah, my bad. Things, well, aren't all right on my end. My mates here, see, they just figured out their abilities don't work here. You know, the ones they've had all their life?
no subject
[She's not about to assume that Raihan would have known him. In fact she would slightly pity anyone who did... he hadn't been the friendliest or most well-mannered of people.]
He had one he called Golisopod. [And she probably has a drawing of it somewhere. Her expression shifts to sympathy though, at the tail end of what the young man says.]
Oh, dear... they must be terribly distressed.
no subject
Ah, sorry. You sound Galarian, is all. [Although her accent is a bit dated, but it's definitely there, just like his own.] But hey, I know someone who has that one!
[Though it hasn't quite hit that he won't see his friends for a while, otherwise the reminder of Nessa would be a little more painful for him.]
I've never actually seen them this distressed before. The way I see it, they can get out all their aggression in a safe environment where they feel most at home, then we can figure out what to do from there. All three of them have different habitual preferences, but a beach takes care of two, at least.
no subject
But that's interesting - she sounds... Galarian? She'll have to ask him about that, but right now her concern is more for the distressed Pokémon and how she could possibly help.]
It's going to be difficult to stay at the beach... I don't think there are many places to live down there, and Camelot itself is quite far away. [Jane frowns, giving a little shake of her head that's directed more at herself.]
They aren't going to get hurt, are they?
no subject
[That, meaning a new city and a new place of residence. Their lack of powers, on the other hand...]
No, they shouldn't. Although I'm sure they'll be flattered to know a lovely lady like you is worried for them! [He... frowns a bit, though, the easy smile fading.] But just in case, do you know of any kind of potions I could give them? The healing kind?
[It's just occurred to them that, with this being a different world, there probably isn't a Pokemon center, or anything that could heal a Pokemon's wounds specifically. That's a bit problematic.]
no subject
[And... she's never been told that it only works on people. Why would it not work on animals too, or Pokémon? One wound is the same as another, after all, and she can't see any reason why not.]
It's a long trip down to the bay, but... if you're planning to stay down there, I can hire a coach to meet you.
[Or, hopefully, Raihan has an easier way to get the Pokémon to the Red Springs, or to Camelot, once they've worked their agitation out of their system.] You should really make sure you don't get left behind!
