[Despite the username, it's not Beowulf himself that appears on the feed. But an unearthly, beautiful woman. Smiling teasingly, seductively at the feed, her fair hair braided with a few locks falling down the sides of her cheeks. Green eyes stared captivating at whoever happened to pop in.]

I'm feeling incredibly lonely tonight. Would there happen to be anyone willing to keep me company for a bit~?

[The voice was cool and calm. Like a light breeze brushing against leaves.]

[Action]

[Sometime later a somewhat annoyed looking Beowulf could be spotted carrying bags of clothing and snacks with that same, seductive woman clinging to his arm. Giggling and looking like she was having the time of her life.

Do you approach?]

[ooc: Basically his familiar decided to play a little prank after getting a little miffed that he hasn't introduced her yet. As a side note, I'm still forced to use my phone for internet so replies are gonna be a bit slow and probably not all that large.]

Well, that sure is something Minako is spotting as she's walking down the street. She recognizes Beowulf, but not the woman who's with him. And while it would be easy to assume he's just out on a date, Beowulf looks weirdly.. annoyed..?

Minako is so confused. But she's never one to suffer confusion in silence, which is why she's already walking up on the two. ]

Hi! Are you two.. out on a date? [ It still seems like the most logical conclusion, despite the look on the guy's face. ]

No/Yes

[Came the replies at the same time.

'Sup Minako? Don't be too confused, because it really isn't all that confusing. Also the woman looked like she was having quite a bit of fun at his expense.]

No, we're just shopping.

[That was Beowulf.]

[ Oh. Yikes.

Minako doesn't think it can be very much a good thing when two people don't even agree about whether they're on a date or not.. And it just leaves her more confused. Is she just into Beowulf, and he isn't into her? ]

Together? You.. don't exactly look like you're having fun.

[ Just to point out the obvious here. ]

[Look, look... there's obviously a very good explanation for what's happening here. No need for confusion at all!]

Oh, no I'm having the time of my life right now!

[The woman gave another giggle as she rests herself against him. Beowulf in turn rolls his eyes.]

I wouldn't say fun. More getting dragged around 'cause she feels like I haven't given her much attention.

.. well.. you shouldn't ignore your girlfriend like that, you know.

[ Sure, he may have denied that there's a date going on here. But a boyfriend and a girlfriend can still go out shopping together without it being a date, right?

So of course Minako is seeing it this way. ]

I know you're a pretty good guy, so I'm sure there's a good reason for it.. But still, make sure to be nice to her! She loves you, you know!

[Gasp! Minako, no! Why?

His reaction is to look a bit confused, and then to give her an amused smirk. The woman next to couldn't help herself and let out a chortle. Like she heard something beyond amusing and was trying not to completely crack up.]

Yeah, you heard her dear! You should pay more attention to your... love.

[There was another fit of laughter and a shake of a head from Beowulf.]

Nah, she ain't my girlfriend or anything like that.

[ She's definitely missing something here - between the laughing and his answer. He's at least good enough of a guy that he wouldn't deny his girlfriend being his girlfriend in front of someone else, right?

But then.. what could this possibly be? Minako looks more befuddled by the moment. ]

Well, then tell me what's really going on! [ She demands. Or, well, 'demand' is a flexible word here, considering how confused and flustered she looks. ] You can't just tell me 'it's not like that' and then not tell what it is like! Unless a wizard put some terrible curse on you that prevents you from ever talking about it!

[ She may have a vivid imagination. ]

[Oh, what oh what could be going on here, Detective Minako!?]

Oh, I wouldn't call it a curse to be bound with this man~.

[The woman gave another wink, hugging a large bicep. Beowulf gave a roll of his eyes.]

She's my familiar.

[She looks like a normal woman. A very pretty woman. But normal all the same!]

[ Thank god for Beowulf being so straightforward about it. It's appreciated, man.

.. though even that direct answer still makes her glance between Beowulf.. and the woman.

That.. sure looks like a woman?

And Minako is pretty sure there's no people familiars, right?! ]

Y-You know.. You don't have to lie about your girlfriend, you know? I don't think it's embarrassing to be dating at all!

[ At least she's saying it in the most gentle possible way. Or, well, the most gentle possible way by Minako standards. But she sure is making some Assumptions about what's going on here, if not just based on the fact that he's trying to tell her a person is his familiar. Which sounds impossible. ]

[The answer get another bout of giggles from the woman. Oh dear, what a precious girl! The familiar skirt swayed slightly, but noticeably. Must just be the wind or her legs moving... even though her own body didn't move.]

Yes, how could you lie about me being your girlfriend?

[Her voice at least, sounds more teasing than chastising. It also gets Beowulf to sigh and shake his head.]

Regardless, you been well? Haven't seen ya for a hot minute.

[ Regardless?

This isn't just something he can brush off so easily! But then again, Minako figures that maybe he's just way too shy to talk about it, and she needs to give him a slight break to regain some courage. His girlfriend sure doesn't seem bothered, at least, so it shouldn't hurt..

Besides, it's nice of him to ask. ]

Me? Oh.. Yeah, I'm fine! [ She quickly nods. ] I know there's quite some trouble in town this month, but I'm not an animal mage, so..

[ She shrugs a little. She's not in the most danger here. ]

I've just been trying to help keep an eye on my friends who do have animal powers.

[At least she was taking his familiar's teasing laugh in stride!

And if she wants to continue thinking they were an item despite Beowulf's fairly blunt response, then hey whatever~! Her reaction so far was cute anyway.

Especially the whole bit about thinking he's shy. Okay so that would miff him a bit, but it was cute all the same!]

Worried over your friends are you.

[There had been apparent trouble in regards to a few individuals here. Though he himself didn't see the need to bother around with it too much. His current priorities were more focused around his master than anything else.]

They're awful lucky to have a friend like you then.

Isn't everyone worried about their friends though..?

[ It seems like a pretty natural reaction to Minako, especially considering the scale at which things are happening. It's not just that someone is only cranky about animal mages - there are people actively being sent to go after them.

That's actual danger. Injuries, or something even worse..

Minako doesn't even want to think about any of that happening to anyone she knows. ]

I mean, aren't you worried about your friends here with those powers as well after hearing all that?

Oh sure, just make sure you don't worry over 'em too much.

[Truthfully he was worried, though more for his newly arrived master than the others. But Beowulf was also an optimist and figured things would end up okay in the end.

Still didn't help that there was a group of people going around bugging others.]

But yeah, I am, to an extent. And to an extent I'm not.

[ To an extent he is, and to an extent he's not..?

It feels a little bit like an odd answer to Minako. But then she thinks about Beowulf, and.. well, she figures it's either because he believes himself to be tough enough to handle it, or he's just one of those Manly Men who hate admitting to being worried.

Whichever it is, she ends up slowly nodding. ]

So you think it's probably going to be okay.

[ It's only a half-statement, really. There's nearly an audible question mark at the end, as she tries to search his face for the answer - curious, and perhaps wanting a bit of reassurance.

Because Minako has, indeed, been worrying way too much about it. ]
