Hey, so, here's a fun question: Who else here has spent basically no time at all at a warm, clean, safe beach before coming here?

[ Steph happens to be recording this from the beach, so you can see how idyllic the place is. The waves makes a nice backdrop, too. ]

Follow-up question: How do you guys feel about fireworks, popsicles and s'mores?

Follow-up-follow-up question: Are you guys doing anything this weekend? Because it doesn't have to be a party for me to do all these things, but doing it solo just seems selfish. So, I'm inviting literally everyone.

[ She's about to turn it off when she thinks of something, and pauses. ]

Oh yeah, one more thing: I haven't been to a party that didn't end in disaster since I was 12. So if anyone tries something sketchy, I will personally hunt you down and break your nose.

How come your parties always end up in disaster though?

I have really bad luck and Gotham is a really crappy city. They weren't even my parties. One was held by the college campus. We had to call an ambulance for a classmate.

[ Then again, Minako has heard of parties getting out of control like that - even though it generally didn't happen much around her back home.

Which is why she's still looking a bit apprehensive at that statement. ]

[ She's met enough people with unusual circumstances that she assumes he really doesn't know what any of those things are. She is thrilled to introduce him to each of them. ]

Fireworks are things you shoot in the sky, [ she illustrates by pointing up, ] and they explode in fun colors. [ She waggles her fingers to show what she means. She's very excited right now. ]

Popsicles are basically frozen juice on a stick. And s'mores are chocolate and toasted marshmallow squished between two graham crackers. [ She manages to prop the phone between her knees so she can demonstrate a sandwich with both hands. ]
