Hokay, so. I'd like a Word with whoever picks the stuff we get out of that box. A tool belt with no tools, I ask you, who makes a girl rebuild her kit from scratch?

I mean, I'd also like a word with whoever thinks 'dunk everyone in a lake' is a great idea, but I'm sure I'm not the only one there.

Anyway. What do people do for money around here, because I kinda doubt my day job is gonna translate.

One would think that if you were in the retrieval business that you would be up to some level of physical work. But not all quests are physical.

There's 'some physical work' and then there's 'mostly I'm the tech side.' Also it's not always a chase-scene kind of business. That is good to know, though.

More than a little inventory, ping corralling, occasionally diving into the archives if Artie or Leena aren't around to do it, that kind of thing. Also computer maintenance, now that Artie's not the only person there who knows what they're doing.

[Or, in fact, the only person there full stop.]
