I mean, I'd also like a word with whoever thinks 'dunk everyone in a lake' is a great idea, but I'm sure I'm not the only one there.

Anyway. What do people do for money around here, because I kinda doubt my day job is gonna translate.

Oh, yeah. Finding the right tools when you're building something is key. It's also a pain in the ass when you're trying to use things that you've never seen before.

What's your day job, if you don't mind me asking?

What are these vaguely-supernatural things like? How are they made? Who makes them.

Also, why do I have a feeling that storage is more complicated than it might seem?

[Claudia grins.] It is very much both of those things.

What are they like, really varies - sometimes it's just tech people aren't ready for yet, mostly not. How, good question. [She will be very surprised if Joshua never tries to figure that out.] Who, usually famous people. A lot of the time there's some kind of 'someone dies horribly' drawback to actually using the things, though, and whether that'll hit the person using it or an innocent bystander isn't remotely consistent.

And yes, storage is hella complicated. You have to make sure they won't set each other off by accident, resist the urge to fuck around and find out yourself, hope and pray you don't bump the wrong shelf by accident, and then there's the Dark Vault.
