Okay, looks like not everyone knows about this, so I'm gunna try to get right to the point.

Apparently, someone put out some magic that's given some of you humans animals ears and tails and what not. Personally I think you guys look better that way. But now another dude thinks that A) an animal mage did it, which makes no sense, 'cause last I checked, animal changes can only do that stuff to themselves, and B) thinks the best solution to reverse what's going on by murdering all the animal mages.

Yeah. Solid logic there.

I'm trying to give a head's up here because not only have animal mages been attacked, but so does anyone who already looked like an animal, including yours truly. I've personally seen some of these money-hungry monsters go after kids, so, just to be clear, it's bad out there right now. So if you're an animal mage, or you've always had non-human traits, please be safe! Don't go out alone if you can, stay in groups!

I'm sure we can get this nonsense wrapped up as soon as possible, but until then, let's make sure no one messes with our mages!

From what I hear, it's just one did who's ready to pay a huge sum because all this extra animal appendages make him them feel... uncomfortable.

That's an awful reason for a massacre. They could've just offered one reward to have it undone!

[ It sounds like performing another spell might not stop it if this is a grudge, though. ]

Maybe we can find out who issued the order?

If we can, it would probably end this all in one fell swoop. We've gotta keep our eyes and ears open for any clues!

Yeah. There's got to be a source if there's money involved. Try to get a name or location out of your opponent next time.

[ Did that nice boy just endorse more torture and interrogation? Possibly.

There’s a pause, then he hastily adds: ]

And, um, be careful out there! ... You can ask me if you need help.

[ She smiles, knowing he means well. Besides, sometimes you need a good cop and a bad cop. ]

I know I can! We're quest buddies, after all!

Yeah! And if everyone keeps in touch with each other, we should be able to narrow down the culprit.
