1st ☆ Miiracle Voice

[Arriving in a new world should not have shaken her this much, yet Rika found herself stowed away in her room for the first day. The only link she had to Hinamizawa was the calendar page in her hand: June 30th. Everything else was gone; Stuck in another fragment, which she could not reach on her own. Not even that clumsy goddess would answer Rika when she has here.

She did have her familiar, a nekomata, to keep her company. Who was not as whiny as Hanyu. And a cellphone, which her 1980s self was woefully unprepared to use. She eventually flips it open and recognizes its similarity to the dial-up phone at her house.]

Mii... Can I be heard? Have I called anyone..? [She isn't confident that she reached a public network, so sighs sadly,] I do not have any friends to call here, do I? They're all back home... in danger. Counting on me...

[There's a sad wibble in her voice. It surprises even Rika to hear herself so close to tears. But the realization that she's separated from her friends is hitting her harder when she speaks the reality out loud. Rika has to wipe her eyes and draw in a calming breath. With some alarming skill, she masks her sadness under a more cheerful tone;]

... Sorry. My name is Rika Furude~! I am newly arrived. It is nice to meet everyone.

I have been told that my kitty friend and I can help out with magic. Is there a school for learning such a thing? Or... nihehe. [Rika pulls the device back slightly from her ear, realizing her mistake.] Maybe I should have called a number first. Phones do not magically connect to everyone at once, silly silly

A cord..? Oh, they do need to be charged with one from time to time! But otherwise they work without needing electricity or anything. It's apparently normal for a lot of people. We don't even have phones at home.

[Yet, at least.]

It's my username that I set for myself. Everyone on the network has one. You should set yours too when you think of one so you can be identified.
