[Video comes on and there is Mitsuhide, giving a fox like smile. It's unclear where he is though, as there is just a blank wall behind him. One thing for sure is that he's either not in a public place or a public place that isn't crowded since there is very little to no background noise.]

My, my. I seems there are quite a few new arrivals. How very interesting.

[It's hard to tell if he was being genuine or sarcastic. He is still smiling a foxy but inviting smile after all.]

My name is Akechi Mitsuhide, and I'm very interested in learning about you and the worlds you come from. Out of curiosity of course.

[And you never know when such information could come in handy, after all. But chances are, he won't do anything with said information. Maybe...]

[While there was a pause on Ken's end as he wondered if he should say something about his name, he decided against it. Instead?]

Let's just say that my world is a place where one has to be careful. If they aren't, they could turn into shadows or creatures that haunt other people.

[Ken doesn't need to worry, since Mitsuhide has heard about what other versions of himself have done in other worlds.]

Ah, so your world actually has youkai? How interesting.

[Though he is still trying to get used to the idea that creatures of myth actually exist in other realms.]

I wouldn't call them youkai as they're called shadows.

[How can he explained this in a way he could understand?]

You can think of them as your darker self attacking you? If that makes sense.

[It actually makes him wonder what his would be like since he already thinks he is the dark version of himself.]

And the worst part is that you need to confront them. Otherwise, they would attack you and others.

[He said before giving a pause.]

But accepting your other self is difficult sometimes.

That’s easy to imagine. Most people like to they’re perfect just the way they are or at least think they don’t have any unfavorable flaws. No doubt it’s jarring to see a very flawed version of one’s self.

You have no idea.

[He said with a sigh.]

Let's just say that seeing another version of yourself with all your flaws is...something.

I'll take your word for it since you are the one speaking from experience.

But what if you are already aware of your flaws and except them?

Then you get something called a Persona. If you accept your other self, you gained the personification of a mythological figure? Even if it is another side of you.

[Pause]

Let's just say it's complicated.

Hmm... Interesting.

[It does sound complicated but that only makes Mitsuhide even more curious.]

And what exactly does a Persona do once you've gained it?

[whatsamada]

It depends? It generally gives you magical abilities to fight off other shadows. They can give you fire, ice, wind, or even piercing attacks too. I know mine gave me electricity and healing magic.

[Pause]

It kind of makes me miss Kala-Nemi.

They don't sound that much different from the familiars that we have here.

It doesn't but the only difference is that the familiars have a personality of their own.

[Pause]

Including some that has a little too might personality. [Because a certain snowman sure likes to make Ken's life interesting.]

[Mitsuhide chuckled at that.]

Indeed. Sake certainly isn't short when it comes to having a personality.

[The kitsune certainly loved attention and getting into trouble.]

Oh? What is your familiar like?

[Just as Ken was finished, there might be a "Hee-oh!" being heard in the background somewhere. Clearly, his familiar was listening!]

He's a Kitsune, so he likes to be mischievous. Normally he behaves towards me, but every now and than he does something to get my attention, like drink my sake. Thus why I call him "Sake."

[As if on cue, a white fox with black tipped ears, wiggles its way under Mitsuhide's arm to get between him and the camera, thus blocking Mitsuhide from view.]

But wouldn't that make him drunk? Isn't that a bad thing for animals to do that?

[With that, he looked at his familiar with a raised eyebrow.]

Although, I suppose it is a little different with familiars. I just hope he's okay!

[The kitsune gave an obvious offended look and huffs. He was not some mundane animal! Mitsuhide though, managed to gently pushed his familiar back down and out of view of the camera.]

I don't think sake would have that effect on an actual kitsune. Especially since many leave sake as an offering to fox spirit shrines back in my time. Though what he drank was not intended to be an offering.

[In response, Ken just looked at the kitsune before giving a nervous chuckle.]

As long as he's okay but I hope I didn't make him mad. I didn't know if he was able to drink it or not. Especially if it's not an offering!

He will get over it.

[Though he can't guarantee that the kitsune won't play a prank if he ever sees the boy in person.]

Exactly that. My name is Akechi Mitsuhide. I'm fairly sure I spoke clearly when I introduced myself.

I'm afraid you have to be more specific, my dear. I have no idea what you mean when you just keep asking to clarify my name.

I'm aware that there are other versions of me in different realities though. So in a sense I'm a Akechi Mitsuhide.

Now now, asking for clarification isn't fishing for compliments. You have to admit, that asking someone to verify who they are by just repeating their name is rather foolish. Especially if there is a chance when that individual is unaware that they may be a historical figure for those from a future timeline.

[Another chuckle and a sly grin.]

But yes, I am that Akechi Mitsuhide. And before you ask, yes Lord Nobunaga knows that I'm here. In fact, he is from the same world as I am. I'm also on friendly terms with Kipposhi as well.

Well, just so you know, apparently history plays out different in my world than what you know. The Honno-ji incident happened a few days before I arrived here. Lord Nobunaga lived, and I wasn't the one responsible for the temple attack. In fact, I was in the middle of investigating who may have been responsible before I landed in the lake.

[He gave another chuckle. He was going to keep her name in mind!]

No way... but there couldn't have been many people in a position to carry out the attack, let alone with the influence to command it.

[Internally, Mukuro was running over what she could remember of the battle to try and figure it out- she'd need to get a better idea of the forces involved to get a picture, though.]

You would be quite surprised at how many there are. Sometimes, you don't need a whole army to carry out such an attack either. Just a handful of those willing to get their hands dirty for their beliefs will do.

But I have an idea who is most likely the culprit. I will need to verify some information once I get back to my home world.

[The number one suspect being a certain disgraced monk. But Mitsuhide needs more proof of it to be sure.]

Small, elite units have their place, yes. And even a single assassin can do a lot of harm if they can slip behind the frontlines.

[Cameras and videos were good for talking with someone over considerable distance. One of the things about future technology that he can appreciate. But it didn't replace meeting someone face to face. He could read their body language better and thus get a better read on what they were thinking.]
