I'd love to. There's a lovely little tea shop out at the marketplace, and a cafe that's perfect for just spending a few hours at, getting some tea while reading a book and whatnot.

[When Flayn sees who it is sending a new message to the network, she pales, one hand covering her mouth. The battle in which they had faced - and killed - Ferdinand was one of the worst of the war for her. She hadn’t had the chance to speak with him directly that day; she only noticed he was there when the professor was about to engage him, and there was nothing she could do to stop that fight from happening.

But here on the screen he is just as she remembers him - bursting with enthusiasm and life. Truly, Avalon is a miracle of a place, to bring them all together again…

She clears her throat and takes a breath before pressing the button to respond, trying to smile. It would be hard to miss the differences in her appearance from when last he saw her - her hair is cut short, curls bouncing at chin level, with lavender and pink ombré color in it, and the style exposes her pointed ears.

Ferdinand…is it truly you?

Why, yes it is Flay.... [He trails off, seeing that familiar face. The last time he saw her... well, that was that battle at the Monastery. The professor had kept the Black Eagles from attacking Flayn and Seteth but... He didn't know what happened to them after that.

He takes a second to regain his composure.]

Flayn. It's good to see you again.

It is...it is good to see you as well. As you have only just arrived, I am uncertain whether you have yet learned that those of us who came here from Fodlan...have not all come from the same period of time or series of events. Tell me, Ferdinand, what is the last thing you recall before you came to be here? How fared your war?

Ah, well, you see... [He pauses to think.]

The Adrestrian Empire completed their unification of Fodlan, and we were starting the post-war recovery period.

The Empire...I see. You appear to be from the same Fodlan as the professor and Edelgard, then. I am afraid that I have come here from a different Fodlan entirely, in which the Leicester Alliance and the Church banded together to defeat the Empire. I...

[Her eyes fill with a remorse that seems too heavy for someone as young as she looks.]

Oh, Ferdinand, I am so very sorry.

[He pauses to think as Flayn talks. What she's saying seems to coincide with what Lorenz was saying back when they first arrived. How many Fodlans were out there... it seemed quite a few.]

From how you are speaking, I am assuming something bad happened.

Yes...something quite horrific. You see, we...we faced you in battle. You commanded some of the troops who defended the Great Bridge of Myrddin, when we crossed into Adrestia, and...and you perished there.

It's very lovely to see you, too. This world is indeed strange, but there are a lot of nice things about it as well.

As of right now, yes I am. I figure it is better for me to find out more about this place before finding a more permanent place to live.

How about yourself? Where are you living?

I have yet to really try looking for another place, although I suppose I should. It's just so daunting, and the hotel is so convenient.
