Alright, I won't beat around the bush. For those of you that I met earlier but never learned my name, or just asked you to call me "Berserker". I apologize. One can't be too careful, names hold power and all that.

[He smiles, if one can really call it a smile. It was more of a sneer, or something more of a feral smirk than anything. Vicious, creepy, one that promised nothing but blood and violence. He was trying to look nice, really!]

But I think I got a good enough gist of what's been going on in this place. Gotta say, that you folks post some interesting things on this network. Well, I won't leave you in suspense.

I am Beowulf Son of Ecgtheow. King of the Geats. If you don't know my tales, which I know many here do not, then that's fine. Perhaps one day I might share one or two with you if I feel like it. This was mostly for a very select few.

For now, I'd like to know more of yourselves and your grievances.

Some of what you just said didn't even sound like words but you know what, I believe you. Define "grievances" though 'cause I mean... that could be anything?

Anyway, I'm Jongdae. Dunno my parents so, you know, son of whoever. [ he doesn't seem that bothered. ] I don't have tales but I used to have a pretty big following on TikTok, but I bet you didn't have that wherever you're from. It was an app where I made cute videos and people liked them, it's pretty simple.

So why "Berserker"? That just makes you sound like... well, like what it says on the tin, I guess? Isn't that like a kinda crazy fighting style? Why not like... "Pugilist" or... "Axeman"? I mean I dunno if you're into axes, who knows. Just thought it sounded cool.

You can call me Taruchi for now, too. I just got here, and I guess my grievance is that I can't afford the stuff I need to survive in this world yet? I'm a pretty normal guy, so I got some pretty normal needs myself.

Just alright? Even though you've been given the basics on arrival? I suppose if you want more than the things you need to live then it's a bit of a detriment. But that's what work's for. As things are now, you've been given far more than most have.

[His smirk grew sharper and filled with teeth. Of course Beowulf didn't mean anything by it! It was supposed to be friendly. And, well, lets face it. A good number of servants probably tended to keep their distance around him. Even Master would sometimes keep a few feet off and away.... He's not that scary, right?]

Can't say I'm complainin' though. It's good to see you, Sir Gareth. I hope you've been well and all that. Any of the others here been causin' problems?

[ Monika is staring in disbelief at the screen for a moment, but then realizes how rude it must be. She forces a smile and laughs awkwardly. ]

A fan of literature huh? You've a sharp mind, reading's one of the best ways to keep your mind healthy and fit. I am "The" Beowulf. Slayer of Grendel and his mother, and more hellbeasts than I can count, or remember. Have to say, you're the only one so far that's recognized me out right. And only the second to show any excitement, you like the poem that much did you?

[No need for introductions here. Kadoc goes for video despite usually defaulting to text; it's different with people he knows. And Servants, who may not always have the best grasp of the Network, though it's amusing that a Berserker is better at it than Casters tend to be. Mages, man.]

Considering how the other Servants here have introduced themselves, I'm surprised you even waited that long to come out with your True Name. No one really seems to care much here.

...considering the last two Berserker Servants that Saber has encountered, one that's capable of actual proper speech despite Madness Enhancement is definitely new. Though then again, they aren't Servants here, are they? Well, if they've introduced themselves along with their true name, then it's only right she does the same, putting aside her opinions on the identity of the person she is speaking to.

[It might soon become clear that he wasn't just capable of proper speech. But also coherent thought, not plagued overly by obsessions or loss of complete control. It was obvious in his eyes, the way they glinted and looked at her in thought. Actual thought, and not some facsimile of it. Again, something that should be disconcerting coming from a Berserker.]

[Most that have replied, that aren't a servant or Kadoc, seem to be really taken with the whole berserker thing. Even after he gave his name, title and father's name and all.

[The idea of being a Saber made his blood curdle with disgust. In spite of it, he still answered honestly. ]

[He was definitely different to the one she'd encountered, so the introduction caught her a little off-guard.

She was slowly getting less skittish introducing herself to the other Servants, but seeing them as allies rather than people she'd have to fight was taking its time.]

...If you already know who I am, I do not mind you addressing me as such. Most know me as 'Caster', here.

[From some of his other messages, though, it sounded like he and Kadoc had 'history'...she didn't want one of her closest friends here getting hurt, but at the same time, picking a fight with a Berserker was a resoundingly terrible idea. She also didn't want to sound like she cared too much until she had more information.]

Ah. I'm not going to ask what history you have with Kadoc, but do try not to break him.

Really he didn't have much of a plan in mind right now beyond to gauge the disposition of the servants currently present. He didn't like Kadoc, or really trust him. But everyone wanted him alive for one reason or another. And he didn't have much of a quarrel with him here.]

Given that I already saw ya disrobed, I'd say I know you pretty well.
