Though that lady seems like she was more interested in scamming me. I legit checked over my shoulder and around me for a vase that was about to break.

You hold all this pretty strongly, huh? That's important, having that kind of ignition in you, sparks the flames of ambition.
Maybe being a genius with the celestial heavens will take you far here.

[ He didn't need to dig deep to honor her talent. She'd shown her knowledge already. Plus, more than anything, it was her earnest passion for what she did that set his faith in her ability. ]
I don't really need to learn more, myself. I never put much in my cosmic destiny, preferring to carve my own path.

[ Mona starts looking through a pile of books, looking for an image to show him. ]
Yet the stars are forever expansive, their lights reach upon us and effect us wholly. No matter where we are, the stars always are an earnest celestial plane that exists upon us. Meaning, they see the eras of time and space that we ours selves cannot understand.
[ She points to her globe, settled beside her on the screen. Going on she talks still. ]
In the same way, how sciences like Alchemy works. Where chemistry works in the matter of elements and compound relationships between them. They are always strict with rules, strict with components you must follow. It is the same with Astrology, the stars all effect us. Hold truths of the past and future beyond us.
[ She lets out a little 'oh!' having found what she was looking for. ]
It's hard to say, but I am currently attempting to use my knowledge with Light Magic. To be able to find a mechanism that can measure the stars above us. [ She finds what she is looking for, and points to it within a book. It looks like a telescope but its not... ] I don't think I can find it here, I may have to work with other sorceresses and an alchemist Or a melder.... To make something like this work.

I don't doubt you can find an engineer who could get something like that working. And with that, you'd be able to further your studies here?
[ Something she'd need... something he might be able to make real for her. ]
no subject
An engineer... I did not think that, gosh I only purchased items. I never went through the process of asking someone to make things for me.

I took the crafting of the rifles my armies used very seriously. Anything less than perfect wasn't at all acceptable, so of course I sought out the best craftsmen to create them!

[ Mona seemed to look as if she pondered this practically, a look of - Do I WANT to do this or...? ]

[ Kipposhi laughed, brightly, crossing his arms over his chest again. ]

Overconfidence is a thing too, you are aware?
[ It is said rather affectionately. ]
no subject
[ Whether that was overconfident or not, he'd let someone else decide. He didn't particularly care. ]
I've made this my goal, and I'll see it through, no matter what.

But... she really was fascinating when she talked about that kind of thing. And he wasn't going to pass up a chance to just be an audience for it. ]
Hell yeah, lay it on me!

Since Earth has - or well is aware of eight main planets. You focus on the direction of each planet. It position within the solar system, and accurately map out as well as mathematically direct meaning from each placed system in your life. [ Mona stops for a moment looking over to the screen. ] In Earth Astrology you typically only end with several planets, and their own moons. However, due to my own studies. I also utilized the constellations that are mapped over your birth and their location during that time.
This gives a more accurate depiction - however... [ Mona lets out a sorrowful sigh. ] The amount of studying one needs to do. To understand each constellation, their meaning, and the placement of their existence is a work effort in itself.
Oh. [ A moment passes and she realizes she babbled a bit. ] I am sorry I babbled again - with all that information stated. I can discern some things about you, for instance.... I can tell with some study and viewing of the stars, as a Cancer your core life were either effected by your own family. Or that you affected your family. These core values mattered to you in some way, but also the prospect of individualism.
Ah... What strong signs in your astrology! [ Mona says with a seemingly awe'd squeak. ] Truly someone marked for something great.

... There was no mistaking your ability, huh? As it turns out... I rose to the head of the Oda Clan in a succession war with my brother, who had the support of our mother.
[ And by the sound of his tone, he didn't... really carry those memories well. There was a heavy feeling in those words, one that slothed its way into the air, enough to choke. ]

[ Mona retorts simply, because she is not aware he is a heroic spirit. ]
no subject
[ A small chuckle, but again, those words held gravity to them that was impossible to deny. ]
Your ability is incredibly sharp, Mona. I'll definitely be consulting you as my tactician from now on!
no subject
[ A slight sigh, but she shrugs it off. ] That wont be nesscariy of course, you can ask me for knowledge and I am not going to turn you away. The truth is for anyone, so long as they seek it.
no subject
A tactician should always be forthright, even if it's something their commander doesn't really want to hear. But from you, even an inconvenient truth would go down easy, being spoken from beautiful lips.
[ Okay that was probably unnecessary. ]
no subject
That was unnessicary. Why are you complimenting my lips? Aren't we having a regular conversation?
