Hello, fellows! It's Sir Gareth of Orkney, again, and this time with a question that (mostly) has nothing to do with baking!

Namely, I'm used to living among others. Castle Orkney wasn't particularly large so my brothers and I were used to sharing quarters before we ever joined the knighthood, and then that was basically a barracks situation. And then, in Chaldea and later the Storm Border, all of us Heroic Spirits had to basically share living spaces, too.\

Basically, what I'm asking is; what is your ideal roommate? If you must share your living space, what sort of person would you prefer? I think I'll need to soon get used to more modern ideas of what roommates are like.

Someone who can clean up after themself. They don't have to be amazing 100% perfect at cleaning but they should at least be able to throw out their own garbage or put stuff back where it belongs. It gets annoying having to pick up after another person's mess constantly.

Not in my experience. Even with someone claiming he's a knight. I guess sometimes common sense isn't so common.

Ha ha, seriously, if I were to have a roommate I'd just want it to be someone I could get along with. I don't think it's worth worrying about much else.

Someone who's easy to get along with, has a good sense of humor and is fairly knowledgeable about a lot of things. If there's something that they don't know, then I'll reach out to help them.

I'm getting a lot of responses like that. I'm learning I took such habits for granted, coming up in a barracks as I did.

[Oh, but she was switching to video now? Anri will follow suit. That smile was more than heartwarming, as was the gesture. Though she herself looked as she sounded, her tone took a noticeable uptick when Gareth appeared.]

But, well, no one enjoys coming home to a floor that hasn't been swept, or dishes that aren't clean. Potentially made all the worse by someone that doesn't take a shower.

having so many servants in one place must have been a rather chaotic arrangement

Truth be told, I never really looked into how it was all managed, myself. But considering their were roughly 250 or so Heroic Spirits under Master's employ by the time I even arrived, I can only imagine it's a pretty big ordeal.
