I'll grant that. And high school is definitely a time to live it up. Not because it's the best years of your life or anything, but just because you have the chance, you know?

I think there's some coincidental selection bias. Since Avalon needs people to do heroic things and all, it's generally pulling people who range from decently- to incredibly-fit. Which is strongly associated with appearance.
