[ The video is just a dark-haired catgirl with her face against her hand. People might recognize her as a miqo'te if they're familiar with them! She's addressing the device while a little duck and dragonet play on the desk near a pile of colorful strings by her side. Some freshly cut flowers are stacked behind them, too. ]
Had enough craziness this moon. Adventuring here doesn't really have the same spark as what we'd do back home, though... and there's been a few folk heading that way, it seems. At least I'd hope.
[ Seeing friends leave is always sad. She just hopes they're safe! ]
Name's Megumi, Matriarch of the Utakata Tribe. Got a request for you lot.
[ Her ears flick, as she continues: ]
What sorts of adventures did you lot have, anyroad? Got a few bells before I'm off duty, and I like to write about them. Tell me about them, even the most mundane. Maybe a chocobo chased you around, or you tried to eat a moogle's pom. Something or the other.
[ She holds up a pattern by the strings, a chocobo and mog pattern (smaller and cuter designs though!) before setting it down. ]
That's what those are. Anyroad, there's a charm in it for you, as thanks. Or a potion. Wasn't much of a magical person outside of my healing, but I'm missing what I used to be able to do all the same. Somehow controlling plants just feels rude at times.
[ She twirls a string bracelet on a finger, from the pile she has on her desk. ]
Tell me a story then, aye? You can say the accessories bring good luck. Made by a Radiant Matriarch and all. That would be me, by the way. Don't forget it.
[ And she winks, before she ends her side to see what she'll get! ]

Well, what kind of story do you want to hear?
no subject
Haven't heard any so far, so how about we start with something easy. Tell me about a time you didn't know what you were doing and how you went through it.
no subject
Well, there was that time with Lady Lilira... Dealing with nobility is always... interesting.
no subject
You don't know trouble with healing nobles in places out of their league unless you're a healer, but tell me about this Lady Lilira, then.
How'd you handle her?
no subject
Well, you see... [And he tells her the story of Lilira and the Sultantree.]
And you can possibly guess who Lady Lilira really was.

[Someone is quickly suckered into this with a crow's eye.]
Ah heh, depends. Paimon can share all sorts of adventures before being dumped in the lake.
no subject
Paimon's your name, is it? You're so cute! Where'd you drop in from, lass?
no subject
Yes ma'am. Reliable tour guide and other stuff! A world called Teyvat. Does it sound familiar by chance?
[A small shot, yet Paimon doesn't recognize her accent.]
no subject
Hm! Can't say I've heard of it. Why don't you tell me something about it, then? What's this Teyvat like? Is everyone there as adorable as you?

[ He might be texting but she's reacting animatedly!! ]
You know that with me agreeing to not ask Hythlodaeus, you have to give me some juicy tidbits from time to time! It's the rule! That I've just made up.

I'm certain I could squeeze out some tales you've yet to share!

I can tell you about mine. Like the time I accidentally used wasabi in a face mask instead of crushed mint! Let's just say I deserved the pain.

can do you a better one than being chased by a chocobo
how about the story of the treasure hunt for chocobo paradise
« video » un: matriarch
A chocobo paradise? That's the kind of story that would have my son delighted! And you know about chocobo at all... where do you come from?
Text; un: luckyseven
your son huh? go ahead and tell him next you see him its almost a legend how it all happened anyway
i come from gaia
i know about moogles too and have one as a familiar
no subject
Aye, when I go home, perhaps. I've got four little ones to return to.
[ She smiles more brightly then. ]
Gaia, is it? Know someone with that name here, but I've heard tales of a world like that too! It's been so long since I've gotten to see a moogle, though! Will you show me your familiar?

Good day My Lady, thine words are full of such whims I know nothing of. You have caught my interest to say the least, might we exchange names and then prattle on about stories? I feel that perhaps there may be enjoyment in exchanging tales back and forth toward one another. For my name is Gawain, I am son to Lady Morgan le fay and King Lot a Knight of the Round table. Though I do not hail of this Avalon or Camelot. I do hail of another one.
« video » un: matriarch
Gawain?! ]
... Bloody Hells.
[ Give her a moment. ]
If we weren't from obviously different worlds, I'd have been certain mine own brother-in-law had taken inspiration from you. He calls himself "Gawain", too!
[ She catches herself, though. ]
Sorry. You gave me a bit of a surprise there.

He's not here, if that's what you're asking, lad. He's a hyuran man from the land of Dalmasca, back where I come from. A noble- has his own "knights" and everything.
[ But, the man looks interested. ]
He's an adventurer. Mostly a bard- and a tailor when the fancy strikes. Suppose he isn't too terrible on the eyes. My brother's certainly captivated. Actually, if he were a bit more buff like you, you both might even look related.
You're handsomer, though. By a lot.
[ H M P H. She might be tsun about her brother-in-law. ]
