Hi, it's me again, and I know that asking everyone questions at once can kind of be a bad idea sometimes or most of the times, but...

I went to the store to prepare for this whole feast thing, and I was offered something free for... For pride? It made rainbows follow me, and I don't see what that has to do with being proud, so there's definitely something here that I'm missing. When I asked the shopkeep they went on about flags and representation, but I didn't really get it.

So... Is there anyone who wants to explain that to me, and am I the only one confused by this?

I don't know if that's necessarily equal? The special thing is free because it's special, but the goods you buy are just normal?

Ah. Does "special" mean something different here? In my experience, there is an expectation of superior quality and value. And they do this for everyone who walks in, correct? That would rule out scarcity.

I am missing some words altogether, it is not impossible that some have acquired different meanings over time. That would seem to be the case with "pride" as well.
