Hi, it's me again, and I know that asking everyone questions at once can kind of be a bad idea sometimes or most of the times, but...

I went to the store to prepare for this whole feast thing, and I was offered something free for... For pride? It made rainbows follow me, and I don't see what that has to do with being proud, so there's definitely something here that I'm missing. When I asked the shopkeep they went on about flags and representation, but I didn't really get it.

So... Is there anyone who wants to explain that to me, and am I the only one confused by this?

very deeply uncool about anyone who's different
but particularly about gender and sexuality
there's a lot of really dumb people who care way too much about telling people what to do
pride is like... a time to be all
"fuck what y'all think we're here and we're proud of it"
and the flags all represent different things
but the rainbow is inclusive for all of them ?
that's my understanding anyway like i... dunno the history or whatever
but it's pretty cool

yeah people are stupid
they care way too much about what's in everyone's pants
it SHOULDN'T matter
but to them it does
i used to watch movies and stuff
and in all of those it's like
GOTTA GET THE GIRL THE THING YOU DO AS A MAN IS GET THAT GIRL
but like man i don't care about getting the girl
why can't we just be friends with the girl ???
someone had to tell me that like it was ok to feel that way because if everything you see acts like that's the one right way
or if there's only one right way you're "supposed" to dress or whatever
how are you supposed to know you're allowed to be another way ????
