Hello everyone, my name is Aurora and I hope you fair well this morning.

I am sure many of you have heard of Sir Claude's feast announcement, and I truly find it to be a marvelous idea!

If I may, though, I had noticed while he spoke to others, that many mentioned they did not know how to cook or bake.

Admittedly, I am no master chef but I know my way around a kitchen and several recipes well enough. If you would like, I do not mind offering assistance so you can learn how to make something a recipe home... Or at the very least, trying my best to help replicate the dish in question.

All I ask of you, in turn, is that you provide the recipe and ingredients, I shall provide the kitchen and instructions. Though, I will also happily supply one of my own recipes and ingredients as well, if you find yourself in want of ideas.

I could not tell you the differences of pork or beef, I have consumed neither. And you can add celery if you like, lemons, limes, oranges, and a few flowers will help you with your acidity, tomatoes too.

Ah- You are vegetarian then, Aurora-san? S-sorry... I had a feeling but I should have asked.

I am, yes. But that is my own choice. It's just difficult to eat the animals I grew up alongside.

That makes sense. Are there any sort of vegetarian dishes you like best?

Well, I've always been partial to sweets. For my 16th birthday, my aunts made me a 16 layer cake with pink and blue frosting. But I'm very partial to a Roquefort and caramelized onion tart. Tarts and quiches are really very versatile dishes.

Roquefort? I think I've had a few different kinds of tarts before. My mother likes making red bean pastries more often.

[He has to say the word very carefully but he probably pronounces it a little wrong?]

A cake that big sounds amazing...!! It must have been a great birthday.

It's a type of cheese made from sheep's milk and takes about 5 months to properly age, but it is delectable.

Red... bean? I do not know this bean. Does it have another name?

Oh, ah, well, no. Just the four of us. But it would be the last one my aunts would get to make for me.

It's also called azuki beans. The pastry is a sweet jam made out of red beans, sugar and honey and baked into a bun and called taiyaki. Maybe I could ask one of my friends help me make some for you, you might like it...?

[It's not an overly sweet pastry. Taiyaki! Usually made in the shape of fish for some reason. But Izuku likes eating them!]

Ah... your last one?

I cannot say I have heard of such a bean, but the dish sounds delicious. I would love to try one, if one can be obtained? I do not wish to put you out of sorts, however.

It... I'm afraid I fell under a curse on my 16th birthday.

I haven't seen any of the shops here in Avalon selling them but I think I could find out how to make them or have a friend help me. Consider it thanks for helping me out, Aurora-san?

[A curse...]

But- Why would anyone curse you...?

Thank you, but if it doesn't happen, the thought that you tried is enough for me.

I was cursed as a baby to punish my parents for insulting a very powerful fae. She initially cursed me to die, my Aunt Merryweather altered the curse instead. I fulfilled it just before coming here.

[fullgauntlet]

[He nods slightly about the food. Focusing on the comment about her curse...]

For insulting a powerful fae...? From what I've learned about them, they can be petty and hold grudges... It's good to hear that your aunt was there for you. What- what kind of curse was it? The curse is gone now? I've never heard of curses being real before...

Petty or not, Maleficent is not to be trifled with.

It is gone here, yes, but it's not broken, when I go back, I will be back under it.

The original curse was that I would prick my finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die. The curse was altered so that I would only fall asleep instead.

[Why yes, she is Sleeping Beauty.]

As a kid who was born in modern-day Japan, fairy tales are common enough. He's heard of the story and seen cartoons before...]

I do not know that person. [Because she is that person.] But I am surprised to hear someone else suffered the same fate.

I- ahhh.. Erm... It's that...

[What does he say?]

That sounds a lot like an old fairy tale... Almost exactly the same.

[beautyrest]

Well, I can't say I've ever heard someone being in my predicament except for me.

[She frowns.]

I cannot say much for the tale you've heard, Izuku. But I am here now, and that is my predicament.

[fullgauntlet]

[Izuku shakes his head.]

I don't know how true the fairy tale could be but... I did meet one of King Arthur's knights of the round table. Back home, they are only fictional story characters. But here- They're real people...

In the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, I think most of the same sort of curse happens to a princess... But she gets a happy ending at the end. A prince saves her from the fae, who changes herself into a mighty dragon.

[He's starting to ramble a bit...]

If you're the same princess...! Or maybe at least someone who the story was inspired by!

I see... Well, I can assure you it is entirely true, as I am a princess.

I am likely that very princess in your fairy tale.

[Hey, you know who doesn't sound the SLIGHTEST bit happy about that? Aurora.]

[fullgauntlet]

[Sorry, princess. Izuku has a habit of taking a thought and running with it. Overthinking all the little details out. This is just baffling to him.]

S-sorry... I- I just didn't think this was possible until I came here. It could be you're entirely different from the story. Just a coincidence....

[beautyrest]

[It takes her a bit of time to answer.

Was her plight, her very real life just a fairy tale? She frowns and then takes a deep breath.]

Of course, well, I suppose I will see you soon enough. [She's looking way less forward to it than when this conversation started.] Please do have a decision in mind on what you wish to make. [She's polite but immediately more distant and it's noticeable.]

[Did he say something wrong? When this came up with Gareth she was more than amiable about the concept. Meeting inspired characters from stories is amazing...

He can tell maybe he said something wrong but now he's not sure how to fix it.]

Ah- I- ... Right. I will. I think basic pork and vegetable stew should be alright. T-thank you for offering to help.

[Not intentionally, but yes. Her life has been one fabrication after another, this is just another "truth" that everyone just expects her to be perfectly happy about as soon as she hears it. So no, she is not amiable to the concept, but she is not going to say as such.]
