So... Are there any dragons in this place? Non-familiar dragons? If so, have they ever harassed the townsfolk here?
And for those of you that have dragon familiars: How chill are they? If someone wanted to burn some paper dragon dolls, are they going to get mad?

They burned effigies of dragons to celebrate all the times the city had defended itself against them.

Action (lmk if this is cool)
Well you did ask.]
it's fine!
Hello~ What do you think? Do you want to burn up some silly dragon dolls? Then you can be the mightiest dragon and rule over their remains~
[Caster, please come stop your friend from baby-talking your familiar into being a tyrant.]

...Klaudia, you're going to be a bad influence on the little one.
[Despite the comment, though...for the first time since the fight, a little humour had slipped its way into Caster's tired voice.]

What's so bad about ruling over other dragons? You should be encouraging them to achieve their dreams~ Look--
[She lifts the bone dragon up, holding it aloft over her head with both hands.]
Look how grand you are! All other creatures are like ants below you! They weep in terror and stand dumbstruck in awe! Such skeletal magnificence has never before been seen~!

And since the locals are so pro-dragon, burning anything resembling a dragon in front of someone might cause a little upset.

But do they really not have any evil dragons here? Not even red ones?
no subject
Are red dragons bad where you come from?

There's good dragons, too, but you don't hear about those as much, since they don't cause as many problems. They're metallic dragons: Brass, bronze, copper, gold, and silver.

Or are you scared of them?
Who knows, a big bad dragon might appear if you burn some paper.

Maybe I am just trying to get a lay of the dragon-shaped landscape~
But if I could summon a dragon by burning some paper, that would be pretty neat, so long as it listened to me.

What do you need a dragon for?

Having big bonfires and watching things burn with food and drink should be a holiday on its own~ This one just happens to have dragon-shaped things involved.

In my experience, dragons tend to see most things we mortals do as beneath them and unworthy of their attention. They probably won't even notice what shape your paper dolls are.

Were they very pretty wildflowers? Did they sit atop them and make little tsew-tsew noises?
