Hi friends! It's me again. You'll all be thrilled to hear that I had a great idea.
What is this idea, you ask? Well... I want to throw a feast! In my homeland they're a great way for people to come together, eat ourselves stupid, and make merry. We could all use some of that with everything that's been happening lately. The spring ball already feels like forever ago, and not everyone was here to enjoy it.
There's just a few simple rules: you have to bring some food or drink from your world, or as close as you can get! And you'd better label it so we all know which foods are from where. [...He's not actually going to enforce this rule, he just thinks it'd be more fun. And educational!]
The other rules are absolutely NO fighting, and no tying each other to trees to get attention, no matter how fun and cute it may seem on paper.
[he's naming no names!! you know who you are!]
I'll send out the location of the feast closer to the time. As for timing -- how about the last day of this moon? That way you have no excuse not to prepare something, and spread the word to people who are bad at using these things!
I'm counting on you all.

And what is your station, exactly?

The title doesn't mean anything here, or much to me overall, but I imagine there aren't many other princesses who enjoy cooking as much as I do, either. Or should I say "I'm not most princesses?"

[It might be a sore spot to bring up this soon, but he can't resist. Dimitri is certainly a choice, not exactly being a normal prince either.]

It did turn out that we had quite a bit in common, though that particular point didn't come up for some time. I was more impressed that he was able to keep up with me in the ring, but you're certainly not wrong!

The first one!
[She's no prude, but she's definitely talking about combat prowess on this one.]
Do you know how hard it is to find a sparring partner that actually offers a challenge?

[You don't improve, after all, if you're not pushing yourself, and Jade is certain she can offer just as much of a challenge as Byleth might be able to offer her in turn.]
And what about you? I take it brute strength isn't your thing, but you must have other ways of keeping your skills sharp.

Got me pegged pretty well, haven't you? I'm an archer, so one of the best ways to practice is by going hunting, whether for food or for creatures causing problems around here. Training by hitting stationary targets can only get you so far.

I like to think I have a good eye for people. You're quite right, training by hitting things that can't run or fight back won't help you to improve. Hunting has the benefit of being practical, as well. It may not be your style, but if you ever DO need to brush up on your hand-to-hand, I would be more than happy to get a good look at what you can do.
[She just loves to fight, okay.]
