Hi friends! It's me again. You'll all be thrilled to hear that I had a great idea.

What is this idea, you ask? Well... I want to throw a feast! In my homeland they're a great way for people to come together, eat ourselves stupid, and make merry. We could all use some of that with everything that's been happening lately. The spring ball already feels like forever ago, and not everyone was here to enjoy it.

There's just a few simple rules: you have to bring some food or drink from your world, or as close as you can get! And you'd better label it so we all know which foods are from where. [...He's not actually going to enforce this rule, he just thinks it'd be more fun. And educational!]

The other rules are absolutely NO fighting, and no tying each other to trees to get attention, no matter how fun and cute it may seem on paper.

I'll send out the location of the feast closer to the time. As for timing -- how about the last day of this moon? That way you have no excuse not to prepare something, and spread the word to people who are bad at using these things!

I'm counting on you all.

[When Gundham sees this message and reads through it, some of the things Claude brings up are... well, concerning to someone as agoraphobic as Gundham.]

Is tying people to trees for attention a common practice where you're from?

Absolutely not! In fact, there aren't many trees where I come from at all.

Actually, I was referring to a post right here on the network not long ago. It was
interesting
to say the least.

It seems I need to pay more attention to the network when given the chance. Such mischief is not something to be tolerated...

[Gundham is just going to tell his direbear familiar to move around to the front of the shelter so as to try and intimidate any such miscreants for the day.]

Right. And while you're being intolerant to mischief, what do you say to the feast idea?

I will likely pass. Such gatherings are... not something I am accustomed to, nor do I truly feel comfortable in such situations. I apologize for any offense, for I have meant none. I simply do not feel as though I have a place in such gatherings of light.

[Don't mind him, he's just got to be needlessly theatric about everything.]

And I was being deliberately obtuse to ruin your dramatic moment. Come on, there's a place for everyone at my feasts. That's the whole point!

I appreciate the gesture, but I will still likely decline. I tend to prefer solitude over such gatherings. Besides, the shelter always has something needing to be done that keeps me more than occupied.
