Hello!

My name is Makoto Tachibana, I’m a recent arrival although this actually isn’t my first time being in another world. So I have some idea what to do with myself, although I’m still learning about this place.

Anyway!

What I’d like to do is offer my services as a swim coach. Or teacher, rather, since I don’t think Camelot had any swim teams or clubs. I’m still looking to see where I’d be able to use a public pool but I figured I could see if anyone wants to learn to swim? I have experience both from at home as a captain of the Iwatobi high swim club and as an assistant coach at the public swim club teach kids. I also did the same on Lunatia, the other world I’d been to before Camelot. I taught there for about six months. Kids and adults that time, although mostly kids.

Kids are generally what I’m used to but you can be any age to learn to swim. Just let me know if you’re interested!

I’ll need to work out the details a bit later in terms of payment and scheduling, this is mostly an interest check for now.

Thank you!

Oh yeah. People appear from all places and eras with no rhyme or reason, like on Prismatica. We get time loops even within Avalon (several versions of the same events happening). You get used to it after a while.

[It's surreal to think that Makoto and JJ were pulled right from the restoration of Prismatica while Hijikata already went home and back several times, but it's not really out of the ordinary, all things considered.]

It'll be a long time until then for sure, but just in case, if we get time moving again but end up stuck here, I've got my crystal with me, so I can take you guys along. I expect that Merlin will figure something out for everyone, though.

[No pressure, Merlin.]

[Ultimately Hijikata isn't too worried about everyone getting to go home in the end... if they survive until then, that is. But on the upside there are no god-like monstrous creatures attacking the city at irregular intervals here, that makes it a lot easier.]

Good question. I guess the easiest summary is: this place has developed in isolation for a long time (since the 500s or earlier). They had little contact with the outside world, but some influences did get through (hence the phones and such), but aesthetically they've just been doing their own thing. I guess everything that's bad for nature (cars, factories, etc.) simply wasn't wanted here. They're big on balance and harmony and all that. Also a lot of stuff runs on magic here rather than e.g. electricity.
