which is: what's the romance gossip???? what am i missing out on????

i'm not kidding!!!! i only found out like 5 minutes ago that one of my friends is dating somebody!!!! i'm a million years behind and that's NOT acceptable. we need to spill. so consider this a place to air all your romance related whatevers so we can all talk about it. i'll say it again!!! i'm not kidding!! u can even post on anon and ask for advice about stuff if you really want.

i just need to recharge on gossip!! i'm running dry!! SO LET'S TALK ABOUT IT

not gonna lie i think the thing that's most wild to me is the stuff that's the same? like you'd think another world would be totally unrecognizable but aside from some weird stuff here and there, it genuinely just feels like being on vacation overseas or something.

That stuck out to me, too! Given that we can not only come from different realities, but different worlds and times? There's so many other planets out there, each with a long history of different cultures!

But it's very clustered, isn't it? There's so many people from Earth, and from roughly the same era. My best guess is that it's all based on proximity to Avalon itself.

OH... THAT MAKES A LOT MORE SENSE THAN WHAT I WAS THINKING. which is that the folks who brought us here just have a huge bias for earth stuff lol

but they were pretty desperate for help right? or they need all the help they can get at least. it's why we're all here in the first place lol. so it figures they wouldn't really be too picky and choosy and they'd just kinda grab anyone and everyone they could find?

It's not necessarily a bad idea. It's a big problem they have to solve. Best to get as many perspectives as possible.

And in the meantime, it's a great opportunity to share valuable information.

I suppose ultimately it would be the ones who created the calamity? Although I can't be sure if any of them are here with us in Avalon.

There's also the monsters we have to fight in quests...

Well, what kind of secrets would they keep? Their weaknesses, perhaps? But those wouldn't be particularly embarrassing...

Or I suppose it could be depending on the weakness. Say, if one of the monsters is ticklish.

YES. and maybe one of them's allergic to something really embarrassing like... idk, unicorn fluff or something.

Honestly, knowing ANY allergies would be useful AND funny. Just imagine any of the monsters here sneezing in the middle of a fight!
