[When the feed comes on it's clearly accidental. There is a close up of a pair of eyes, and a tattooed blue arrow on his forehead.]

Ok, so, screen towards me. Check.

[They glanced sideways and there was the sound of paper rustling.]

So the apple...no, app is open, ok. That's what they said. Wait, is it on?

[He steps back suddenly, revealing a sixteen-year-old in orange and yellow robes. He's smiling, and waves.]

Oh, hello. My name is Aang, and I've just -

[It's then that it turns out the camera was not t all securely placed, as it tumbles off of it's place, with there only time for a 'uh-oh' to be heard before the video feed cuts out. Technology isn't his forte, really. And he's a bit...discombobulated, really.]


But, in person...

But he's actually very easy to find, given his garb, and the staff at his side. The miniature skybison flying around him in a slow circle hardly hurts. The pixie sitting on his shoulder might be a little more familiar to the local population, though.

He's had some encounters, of course - and as he wanders he city, taking in the sights...he is bound to have many more.

But for a little while - just a little while - he isn't the Avatar. He's just a (relatively) normal teenager, who draws very little attention. For the moment, at least, he can just be Aang for the first time in his life.

How do they make it without their shells?

They just swim around in ponds, hehe... Ducks and turtles don't live very dangerous lives, I don't think.

Yeah, but...all they'd have is their four little paddly legs. It's not like they walk very good.

They can swim and walk! Ducks can fly, too. They have wings and two legs. Turtles have four legs and no wings. They're reptiles, not birds.

Yup! In flocks! They even migrate! Nee, do you know how to look up photos on AOL? You can look up "duck" and find pictures! Like so~

I don’t know about turtle-ducks, but there are many different kinds of ducks and turtles in my world... They all look different but they’re all pretty cute!

Kyaaa, this must be so exciting for you~! You get to watch your first movie, and hear new music, and see new kinds of clothes — all these cool, alien, modern things! A lot of this is foreign to Miwako, too, but a lot of it is familiar — nee, is it weird I'm kind of envious!

Of course not! I'd feel the same way, getting to see it through someone else's eyes - I'd be so curious how things would go, what their favorites would be...so not weird at all.

You're in for so many treats, hehe~ If you ever need suggestions, ask Miwako! I know a lot of music and movies and stuff to get you started~ I go to art school back home — it's part of my studies... Even if indirectly, hehe. In my world, in moderntimes, music and fashion can't be separated. Nee, in fact, that guy I mentioned earlier, David Bowie, he's a great example of that. Iconic rule-breaker and trendsetter across the board~!

Miwako will try to find a console someday so we can play it... I know that doesn't make sense right now, but I'll let you know when I find it. Think of it like— like an interactive play at home, a game about music, but with a fun story and cool vibes. It's a rhythm game about a news reporter in outer space named Ulala who has to save the Space President who's been kidnapped by aliens who are forcing everyone to dance, and you've gotta fly through outer space to beat the other journalists to the scoop, solve the mystery, while defeating the bad guys in dance battles with your groove gun in time with the funky beats they serve you to copy in perfect rhythm, and rescuing all the people who're dancing themselves crazy! It's my favorite game~ Here, look!
