Hello, everyone. My name is Weiss Schnee. I'm a Huntress from a world called Remnant. [ A pause, and she looks away from the camera for a split second because she knows how strange the name may be for an entire world. There's a backstory to that, but she won't go into it. Her world's history isn't exactly something that should be blurted out in public. ]

I know that most have more pressing matters at hand, but I'm hoping you would give me a bit of your time—

I'd like to learn about the other worlds out there. Specifically, prior to finding yourself in this realm, did you believe in other worlds apart from the one you lived in to exist? Was it even possible to willingly travel from one world to another? I'm talking about portals or some other method of getting there.

Oh! [ She seems to brighten up when she remembers something. Right, now for a less serious topic— ] Has anyone else mastered the art of Siphon Magic? I'd love yo hear your thoughts on how you did it, and what things you can do with it.

Already knew one existed before coming here. Great place to visit if you like fighting monsters. Only a few of us knew of its existence and could go there willingly through small portals throughout the city. At times we'd be summoned to battle when a bunch of them gathered. The place is called the Grimwald Nox.

Who would summon you? And how did you come to know of the world's existence, in the first place?

No person did unless you lay blame to the one who created the curse I was given. I learned of its existence the first time I ended up there. Creepy place too, all dead looking with blood red moons and sky.

So, having a curse gave you the ability to go to other worlds?

[ ... having a "curse" seems dark. She's not sure if she wants to ask about that. ]

World, singular. Makes me really wonder about this place because a barrier should have blocked me from being able to come here. Sure can't go far from Balduq because of the curse.

I'm assuming the magic in this world is far more powerful than in other worlds.

[ But there is so little she knows about magic and this whole place in general! ]

That must mean the curse is no longer in effect, though, right?

[Hawk laughs bitterly at the idea of magic here being more powerful than his world. His world's alchemy blows this world's away. He just can't say exactly why because like hell he's getting into that. Still he can at least comment on how it can affect living creatures.]

Can't comment on other types of magic, but my world's got alchemy too. Since it can affect living creatures it's way more powerful. That's what was actually used to even create the curse. It's kind of complicated but parts of it are still there even if the restriction is gone.

[ Alchemy is a concept she's never heard of until finding herself here. To think that people can make something else from one other matter— it's mind-blowing! But if it can affect living things, what exactly does that mean? ]

I can't picture using alchemy on living things. Can you give an example?

[ To her, it's not a concept that seems easy to grasp just yet. ]

Why don't I just show you? Still got my wings and don't care who sees them even if some of the locals think I'm a freak.

[And he'll flip it over to video and then make his wings appear. They are definitely massive black feathered wings much like a hawk's. He turns the phone to get the view to show as much of them as he can, but with how huge they are they sure don't fit. It's just very clear that he's got huge wings that look potentially capable of bearing the weight of a taller human male. He makes them vanish and changes back to voice only.]

Definitely couldn't do that before being cursed.

[ Despite all she's seen in her travels and after learning the truth about two people in Remnant, seeing something like that is both still pretty amazing and shocking. Weiss is unable to hide the gasp that escapes her, but she manages to at least cover her mouth with both her hands. ]

I— You say it's a curse— does it hurt you when you make them appear like that?

Not one bit, but it does make me an inhuman freak who is quite hated. Just because it's a curse doesn't mean all of it is bad.

But it's not your fault. Do people know that?

So? There's people who have been arrested and sent to the prison for less. At least I know the prison can't hold me if I ever do fail to evade capture.

Oh.

[ Weiss remains silent for a few seconds. He has a point. ]

That might be the reality, but it still shouldn't happen.
