Hello, everyone. My name is Weiss Schnee. I'm a Huntress from a world called Remnant. [ A pause, and she looks away from the camera for a split second because she knows how strange the name may be for an entire world. There's a backstory to that, but she won't go into it. Her world's history isn't exactly something that should be blurted out in public. ]

I know that most have more pressing matters at hand, but I'm hoping you would give me a bit of your time—

I'd like to learn about the other worlds out there. Specifically, prior to finding yourself in this realm, did you believe in other worlds apart from the one you lived in to exist? Was it even possible to willingly travel from one world to another? I'm talking about portals or some other method of getting there.

Oh! [ She seems to brighten up when she remembers something. Right, now for a less serious topic— ] Has anyone else mastered the art of Siphon Magic? I'd love yo hear your thoughts on how you did it, and what things you can do with it.

A pocket dimension... I'm not exactly sure what that means. A smaller "world", so to speak? Pockets are for small things.

And this "world hopping" thing— did you learn how to do it by yourselves? Or did something happen in between that prevented you from doing so?

Basically. The Dark Hour was the result of some scientists fucking around with shit better left alone - they managed to add an hour full of monsters to the day.

That was better than what they were going for.

Solid theories, but I don't think anyone had gotten around to testing anything yet. Just my luck, that would've been the next thing to happen. Don't think it'll work here anyway - it depended on the properties of where we were stuck, which ain't here.

This is a lot more complicated than I thought. Being able to add an hour to a day defies so many things! Although I don't really have much context to work on, hence my limited understanding of it.

And I see. I'm looking for ideas on how to at least travel from one world to another. If it's possible here and in other worlds, opening a two-way door to Remnant at a specific point in time should also be possible.

Nobody was aiming for a full-time portal, just bein' able to come and go as we pleased instead of 'congrats, you're stuck, here's another world to fuck around on for a few weeks.'

And here you have to get around the whole thing where supposedly all the worlds are in ruins right now and you may not be able to get there, or do much if you do.

Those are two things on different sides of the spectrum. I suppose it's better than it being the end of the world, though, even if it does make things inconvenient.

And yes, it is true that all the other worlds are in ruin now, but it doesn't mean that it will be forever. I was asleep for over a day; I think it was my familiar who put me to sleep. I woke up with memories of the future. That's why I have to do something about my world, once time is working again.

Death cults aren't known for their logic. The extra hour came from a last-ditch attempt to stop it.

Once time is working again you might be able to just go home. Dependin' on what people work out in the meantime.

I can't just go home and be happy about it. The situation I found myself last isn't exactly favourable for the fate of the world. I need to bring in some external factors.

'Take other people with you and fuck shit up' kind of thing? [For a given value of 'fuck shit up,' anyway. Certainly whoever likes the situation she's hoping to untangle would think it was fucking their shit up.]

How would you word it?

I would seek the aid of people from other worlds in order to win a war and save Remnant.

[ Okay, now that just sounds like big talk. ]

Then, when everyone is safe, these people can come and go to Remnant as they please. Though it may be best to close the way in and out from other worlds after that— I don't know if we would be able to afford inviting a new threat after that.

So takin' other people with you to fuck shit up. Hopefully in a good way, if you wanna tip the balance of a war, but still.

You'd probably have to figure out what to do with the portal after you're done, in that case. Last place's portals picked up stakes and left after we were done doin' shit, but we did work out how to make our own back to the places they sent us. It was goin' back to people's actual homes that nobody tested yet.

[But there's plenty of reason to believe they could've made it work.]

The portal will be closed once those who don't belong there have gone home. Although it would be nice to be able to go elsewhere after that...

Make sure it's something you know how to close before you open it, then.
