Hello, everyone. My name is Weiss Schnee. I'm a Huntress from a world called Remnant. [ A pause, and she looks away from the camera for a split second because she knows how strange the name may be for an entire world. There's a backstory to that, but she won't go into it. Her world's history isn't exactly something that should be blurted out in public. ]

I know that most have more pressing matters at hand, but I'm hoping you would give me a bit of your time—

I'd like to learn about the other worlds out there. Specifically, prior to finding yourself in this realm, did you believe in other worlds apart from the one you lived in to exist? Was it even possible to willingly travel from one world to another? I'm talking about portals or some other method of getting there.

Oh! [ She seems to brighten up when she remembers something. Right, now for a less serious topic— ] Has anyone else mastered the art of Siphon Magic? I'd love yo hear your thoughts on how you did it, and what things you can do with it.

The idea of other worlds is... difficult to answer. From what I understand, they normally can't sustain their own existence before the timeline corrects itself, but some of the people I met aren't just from alternate versions of human history, but like... completely different and unique worlds entirely, so the rules I only half understand don't seem to be applying here.

[ Sounds dark? Especially the first part?! ]

So if the other world can't sustain itself, does it just disappear?

[ Gareth let out a small groan. ]

Kadoc knows a lot more about this than I do.

[ It's the guy you stole jewellery from when you thought you were a cat, Weiss. ]

Oh, he is! It's a bit on the sour side, sometimes, but he's a great friend when you need him to be!

[ His ears would probably burn to hear that. ]

We've all had to adjust to a lot of really new concepts, I think. I also think you've got the right approach! Better to ask than assume, right?

That's true. [ She can't help but chuckle at that. ] Then again, I wouldn't even know where to begin in assuming. I've never considered it in the first place. Well— we have this world and the previous world I was in that also brought people together, but... I guess I didn't think that other otherworlders would be able to travel from one world to another and all.

Well, in my case, I suppose I just... don't question it.

My Master, they have need of me to fight at their side, no matter what world that is. And that just involved traversing what had seemed impossible.

The details aren't ultimately important. All that matters is fulfilling my duty, as both Knight and Heroic Spirit.

[ Hang on a second. Things are beginning to turn in her head. ]

A Heroic Spirit— do you mean you're a Servant?

You... know what that is?

[ She supposed it was possible one of the other Heroic Spirits present in Avalon could have explained it, but she certainly hadn't brought it up yet, herself... ]

Well... in the previous world I was in, it also brought people together like this. I made a contract with a Servant.

[ And it was... definitely something. Weiss wanted to be stronger, so the contract wasn't how other contracts would normally be! And she even fought her would-be Servant then prior to the whole agreement since that's how summoning works for Weiss— the creatures she's able to summon are ones whom she's defeated in the past. Of course, she was unable to defeat her Servant then, but it was a close fight! And a formality, at best. ]

After finding myself here, our contract's been severed.

We've no need of a Master, here, to maintain our existence... [ It made her realize how lucky she was, in some ways. She didn't really want to think of having a contract with someone besides Ritsuka... ]

I'll respect the institution, and not ask the name of your Servant, but I do wonder how much you know beyond that.

Honestly? Not a lot. It was a contract made out of convenience for the both of us, not because we had a specific objective in mind.

[ But she knows that there would have been a war, were they elsewhere. Weiss doesn't know the full details, nor does she want to, but she's proud of the bond she had with Sanson. ]

... Forgive me, my lady, but for your sake, I have hope you never truly will have need of that knowledge.

Grail Wars are... nasty business. Despite how we Heroic Spirits are attached to such a thing, the whole idea hardly feels noble.

Is any war ever appealing?

[ She sounds pretty sad just thinking about it. ]

It's upsetting that Heroic Spirits just disappear when there's no war going on.

You needn't mourn for us. This is, after all, an existence we all accept, and we take some pride in who we are. For a knight like me, no honor was greater than to fight alongside my fellow servants under the banner of my Master.

[ She let out a small sigh, a slight laugh in her tone, rubbing the back of her head. ]

Though I suppose that's because I am a knight. My perspective is a little different.

For your existence to be defined without your input... I don't understand how others can just accept it.

[ Especially when it's been something she'd been struggling with since she was a child. ]

I know I can't, and I won't.

Well, I can definitely assure you some Heroic Spirits manage a tremendous, almost sinful amount of pride despite our status as Servants...

[ A certain golden King of Heroes came to mind immediately. It was hard not to notice that guy. ]
