[The video opens with Tsuna sitting in one of the rooms at the inn. He's leaning against a Griffin, who doesn't seem too upset with the situation. If anything, it's kind of nudging Tsuna's arm, looking for attention.

As for Tsuna, he seems thoughtful.]

Uh...so...I've, uh, never really used magic before. But I think I have elemental magic here...I don't know. It's mostly just been fire.

[He holds up his hand and a small flame bursts in his palm before engulfing the hand entirely. He sighs a little in regret]

I'm mostly just wondering how you turn it off. I'm going to have to wait until it stops burning now.

[There's a sense he has more to ask but he's just going to hold off for now.]

[There a bob of the screen which can be taken as a nod. And then a light hiss as he tries to dig through the snow, the flames melting it as he sticks his hand in. It doesn't even feel that cold now that he thinks about it.]

Okay, I think I hit dirt.

[It is fairly calming work, and Tsuna's familiar enough with it now that he's not freaking out about his hand being on fire. It's still taking a little bit since the ground's slightly frozen.]

Does it need a lot of dirt to smother it? Like, enough to cover my whole hand?

Right, I think I remember being told that...

[He doesn't go camping often, but there's a silence as he works, trying to loosen up enough dirt to sink his whole hand in. Thankfully with the warmth from his hand, it doesn't take long.]

I...I think it's working.

I don't really want to have to carry dirt everywhere though.

It is important to have a fail safe if you cannot control it. I assume there is a way to turn it off and on magically, though I do not yet know it.

Yeah, I just haven't figure out the trick to it yet.

I don't suppose you know anyone who knows magic? Or would know how to do that?

No. We do not have magic in my world. This is a new experience for me as well.

[ So he doesn't really know how to help. ]

I wonder how many people are in the same boat.

I've heard from others that even if they had magic, that magic was removed and they needed to learn another form here. We are all in similar boats, regardless of past experience.

[theskyaccepts]

I guess so. I know my abilities don't work here, but they weren't exactly magic.

It must extend to everything.

It's...kind of hard to explain. Have you ever heard of a deathperation flame?

No. Is that death and desperation combined into one word?

[theskyaccepts]

I think so. It's what my tutor called them.

I would use them to fight but I can't do that here.

How do I explain?

They're like...energy, that you can use to fight and activate things, like box weapons. I'd use them to fight back home, and protect my friends.

It's hard to explain when I can't show it.

[ Without worldly context, he finds it difficult to comprehend. He logs the information away in case it ever comes up, but ultimately he doubts it will become detrimental information here given the nature of this place. ]

If you're ever able to give a demonstration, I would appreciate it. I understand it is impossible here.
