[The video opens with Tsuna sitting in one of the rooms at the inn. He's leaning against a Griffin, who doesn't seem too upset with the situation. If anything, it's kind of nudging Tsuna's arm, looking for attention.

As for Tsuna, he seems thoughtful.]

Uh...so...I've, uh, never really used magic before. But I think I have elemental magic here...I don't know. It's mostly just been fire.

[He holds up his hand and a small flame bursts in his palm before engulfing the hand entirely. He sighs a little in regret]

I'm mostly just wondering how you turn it off. I'm going to have to wait until it stops burning now.

[There's a sense he has more to ask but he's just going to hold off for now.]

[There's one calm girl on this screen. Rin is used to answering questions about magic (thanks Shirou) and she's had her problems with her own magic back home especially in her early years too. Yup, that sure at least looks like Elemental magic...]

What else have you tried besides waiting?

I've tried dumping water on it, and that usually makes it go down but it doesn't stop right away. I'm kind of afraid to touch anything with it on though, so I guess my options are kinda limited.

Shove it in the nearest sink-- or bathtub, fountain, whatever.

Might get a water bubble stuck to it after that, but hey, it's one problem solved.

[He's still, very new to the whole magic thing and flames are the biggest base he has.]

Not sure I know anyone with water either...so I guess I could try the traders.

[He's a little wary. Last time, the fire got a lot bigger before it got smaller.]

Fire burns on oxygen. If you stifle it with dirt, it will not be able to continue burning.

[It's a bit hard to do one handed, but he gets up and heads outside, followed by the griffin.]

I can't really see a good place to try...would snow work?

Try it with the snow. If not, there should be dirt under the snow.

[There a bob of the screen which can be taken as a nod. And then a light hiss as he tries to dig through the snow, the flames melting it as he sticks his hand in. It doesn't even feel that cold now that he thinks about it.]

Okay, I think I hit dirt.

[It is fairly calming work, and Tsuna's familiar enough with it now that he's not freaking out about his hand being on fire. It's still taking a little bit since the ground's slightly frozen.]

Does it need a lot of dirt to smother it? Like, enough to cover my whole hand?

Your familiar is the conduit through which your magic flows. It follows that they must also be able to help shut off that flow, does it not?

Why not try and interact with it further? There is no harm in attempting it.

It's gotten a little better. Like I said, I can turn it on and mostly keep it under control now.

No, I haven't tried that. I've sort of been trying to get fire under control first before I move on to anything else.

[Well, that's a bonus, yeah? Though, Samatoki may surprisingly agree with harsher methods. Right now it's about not burning the inn down. Riou has yet to build MTC accommodations that are not the Inn and he does not want to be homeless.]
