[It has only been a month since Rose was dumped into the lake and arrived at Avalon. And has it ever been a whirl wind.]
Soa, are things always this- [Crazy? Insane?] Interesting here?
When I first arrived here, there were vines in the forest that would snatch people up. [Which obviously led to even more trouble later on.]
Now there is a minotaur throwing rocks at the city and it did something unspeakable to the water supply to one part of the city. On top of that there is a possibility of war lingering in the air. [A conflict that she hasn't been around long enough to full understand the full story behind it yet.]
Do things ever slow down?
[She gives a sigh.]
At least it is not constantly raining anymore...

Rivers floating up could be possible but it could also be a sign of unstable magic. [The valley of corrupt gravity from her home world came to mind.]
no subject
Ehhhh... Now I'm worried again, thanks.
no subject
That is what it meant in my world anyway. Soa knows what it would mean here.
no subject
Well, you know how I feel about magic.
no subject
I do. Like I said before, the magic is different here, so we may not even have to worry about instabilities.

When it does, it's usually because things are about to get worse.

And here I thought my world went through some chaotic times.
no subject
But when it gets to the 'kidnap you out of your home world' point, it doesn't really slow down.
no subject
I suppose all we can do is just try to keep up.
no subject
Pretty much. If we're not the ones causing the chaos, anyway.
no subject
So you were in another world before coming to this one? Interesting...
no subject
More like 20. There was world-hopping bullshit involved.
no subject
20? Soa, how did you manage to keep up with all of them?

Soa, that sounds strange enough. But honestly not the strangest thing I had experienced.
At least I now know to expect anything unusual.

I am used to dealing with dragons, especially babies. That one probably would not have been as dangerous for me.
no subject
[Yeah, it was weird, but doing that was how he met someone he's fond of, so he ain't gonna knock it.]
no subject
Either way, I imagine the real danger happened when you closer to the mothers?
no subject
Truly, getting close to their mothers was not an issue. Didn't need to get within range, if anything it was a bit disappointing.
no subject
Speaking from personal experience, I would rather be disappointed than deal with an enraged dragon mother who is angry because I was too close to one of her offspring.
