When I first arrived here, there were vines in the forest that would snatch people up. [Which obviously led to even more trouble later on.]

Now there is a minotaur throwing rocks at the city and it did something unspeakable to the water supply to one part of the city. On top of that there is a possibility of war lingering in the air. [A conflict that she hasn't been around long enough to full understand the full story behind it yet.]

Do things ever slow down?

At least it is not constantly raining anymore...

Rivers floating up could be possible but it could also be a sign of unstable magic. [The valley of corrupt gravity from her home world came to mind.]

I do not see how it is sad. I liked sweets as a child, so it was something I grew out of a long time ago. [Like a few thousand years or so.]

In all honesty, I am not so sure if in my case it was kidnap or if this is just the After Life for me. [If so, is it safe to say that she is really in Hell?]

Might depend on how they handle death here. Last place I was stuck, it would've been a safe bet to go with 'actually dead,' but Liminal Space... probably ain't a reliable example for here. Not everyone there was dead at home, but a few people were.

Arrived the month before, bet you didn't know we just got secondary magic at the end of that month. Happened after a weird ball with masks that made people act funny and flower pods that gave people shared dreams. Quite tame compared to last month and the shit I was dealing with back home.

Soa, that sounds strange enough. But honestly not the strangest thing I had experienced.

At least I now know to expect anything unusual.

And not even always dangerous. About the most dangerous then was the baby dragons deciding that the flower fields were their territory.

I am used to dealing with dragons, especially babies. That one probably would not have been as dangerous for me.

It wasn't really all that dangerous either. At least not on the same level as pissy minotaur. Was more like trying to woo a cute girl by giving flowers so they'd trust us to lead them to their mothers.

Loring them with something might have also worked, if they were anything like the dragons back in my home world. [How different could dragons be from world to world?]

Either way, I imagine the real danger happened when you closer to the mothers?

Well, the flower thing was what we were told would work for them and I ain't going to question natives who know their dragons better when I only seen a vicious two headed dragon with a head coming out its ass before. [Yeah, that one will always remain weird.]

Truly, getting close to their mothers was not an issue. Didn't need to get within range, if anything it was a bit disappointing.

That sounds like a very... Interesting dragon. [She's trying to get an mental image, and everything she imagines just seems ridiculous.]

Speaking from personal experience, I would rather be disappointed than deal with an enraged dragon mother who is angry because I was too close to one of her offspring.
