i didnt know you have to interview to get jobs. even if it's just at a restaurant!! regardless of whether the job itself involves talking to people at all!!? stupid

2. what do you know about going to school as a full-time student here?
i heard you can make a living like this
insight about going to school in other worlds could be useful too. i was homeschooled....

it's not impossible they could show up but...... it'd confuse us all too much.
it's confusing enough having my sister and uncle here together
they don't get along either
i just really don't need a full family reunion in a random parallel reality

i imagine my sister and i would both be conflicted if our mom showed up
if our dad showed up.... it'd suck for me, but my sister would probably be thrilled, i don't know.
it'd be bad news for the rest of us, though. this whole world.

he's a cut-throat kind of person
who knows how he'd react to being spirited away here
but probably a lot worse than me or my sister or my uncle have
definitely a lot less friendly..

Suddenly, that makes me wonder what kind of father he is. He is reminding me a little of someone I used to know.

Let's just say that he was kind of power hungry too and hurt a lot of people.

and a bad father
and it took me until i was almost seventeen to realize that truly

I don't have a father but I can't imagine how difficult it must be to know that someone you looked up to turns out to be terrible.
