1. what do you know about job interviews?
i didnt know you have to interview to get jobs. even if it's just at a restaurant!! regardless of whether the job itself involves talking to people at all!!? stupid
[ Guess who's been bombing interviews as a part-time busboy all over town. And who's only bothering to ask about proper employment beyond random quests, um, now, after several months of just getting by...? He must be getting tired of stealing hotchips from the cornerstore. ]
2. what do you know about going to school as a full-time student here?

i figured..... it was unsettling, not going to lie. i didn't know what to do. i wanted to help but i didn't know how the memories in those vernal soul pools worked and i was afraid to fuck something up. then he lost. i was worried for him.....

Gokudera-kun might have called him Turftop, but I don't know how much you guys discussed the other guardians.
[It's weird, saying something like that. Admitting to having his guardians but Zuko also knows about this and it's a little freeing in a way. He wouldn't really know how to explain Ryohei otherwise.]
There. There wouldn't have been anything you could have done. Getting involved meant disqualification. And we couldn't really afford that at that point. I was really worried to, but I don't like it when he puts his life on the line like that.

Chrome is the Mist Guardian, but she's connected to a very dangerous person. It's sometimes hard to tell if he's on our side or not.

but i believe strongly in second chances and redemption, too. and gokudera's told me so do you guys. turning enemies into allies. seeing good in people not everyone else sees right away. i respect that. someone coming to the right side of things from the wrong side, the hard way, takes a lot of conviction and contemplation. not so easy to shake that off.
