1. what do you know about job interviews?
i didnt know you have to interview to get jobs. even if it's just at a restaurant!! regardless of whether the job itself involves talking to people at all!!? stupid

insight about going to school in other worlds could be useful too. i was homeschooled....

I feel like I've met a lot of those types of people.

but i believe strongly in second chances and redemption, too. and gokudera's told me so do you guys. turning enemies into allies. seeing good in people not everyone else sees right away. i respect that. someone coming to the right side of things from the wrong side, the hard way, takes a lot of conviction and contemplation. not so easy to shake that off.

I've been grateful for that, being able to make allies. And maybe even change their minds somehow. I don't like the kind of life that's fighting all the time.
It doesn't stop them from being kind of scary though.

i don't know about turning our enemy into an ally but i trust the avatar's judgment on how to handle him.

my friend aang is only 12.
i mean technically he's 112. it gets complicated. i know you can get that.
but regardless...... he's a talented kid.
he likes to joke around and play games and hang out with his friends
but he's wise and powerful and i trust his judgment, whatever it is. he's got some kind of intuition too i guess.

And I thought stopping Byakuran was going to be hard.

It's one of those situations that only seems to get more complicated the more we learn.
It's a lot of stuff that I'd rather not do, if we weren't in the situation we're in.
I just want to get everyone back to our time safely. There's a lot of people that shouldn't be involved.

i introduced him to gokudera a while ago. uncle's username is pai sho if you wanna talk to him ever. his name is iroh. you'd like him. he likes the sound of you.

aang has a lot on his plate.......
he's also the last of his kind.
in the hundred years he was frozen, there was a genocide on his people.

I really think a lot of the Vongola traditions he comes up with are just ways to make a mess

but gokudera said that im involved enough as an informant basically by this point that i'm practically part of things and that anything we say or do regarding your careers could expose you and put us all in danger. so uncle knows the risks.
he knows more than azula. but uncle can be trusted. he's a wise old man. he has a complicated past. i hope he understands. he seemed to.

we have our friends katara, sokka, toph and suki
and other friends he made along the way. he's the avatar. he's famous. legendary.
but at the end of the day he's just a goofy kid who wants to call me dumb nicknames and build sand castles and do stupid marble tricks with his airbending........

whats his guiding philosophy like, training you?
like my master piandao was very adamant about encouraging creativity in battle
thats why i know how to do calligraphy, rock gardening and painting, all as part of my swordsmanship training.
he spoke often to creating a sense of identity and ownership to one's own actions as a martial artist

He is.
I think he just likes tormenting sometimes.
A lot of his training involves explosions and me getting hurt.
He says it's to make me a mafia boss but I'm not sure.
I didn't really ask for any of it.
I think my grades have improved though

you should talk to him sometime. he's a good person to have in your corner.

they say what doesnt kill you makes you stronger......
but there are so many ways to train and so many aspects to train in in battle, it shouldn't all feel like that.

ahhh.... one of those types.
uncle is one of those "you kind of have to meet him to get it" people too. descriptions don't cut it.
he's a strict teacher too but he never tormented me....
piandao, my swordsmanship teacher as a boy, often launched surprise attacks though
that was nerve-wracking the first couple times. ha.

That's kind of Reborn's default setting.
I don't think it's stopped being nerve-wracking.
Every time he pops out it's a different costume from a different place.

It's...hard to explain why but some of it I think it to just scare me, some of it's to confuse other people. He's got a lot of other identities.

we were comparing the craziest things from our worlds, which for me was meeting dragons the world thought were extinct guarded by a secret ancient civilization that had been thought gone for thousands of years
and he told me about reborn
and how he shoots you in the head to train you

gokudera won "craziest thing.." :)
