Hey, everyone! I know we've all gotten some new magic lately, and really to some of us, magic in general is new, but that's beside the point.
I've been thinking that those of us with computer magic should maybe all get together and have a sharing of our information. It's always much more fun to figure things out in a group!
Maybe just introduce yourself and we'll come up with a place and time to meet!
Oh, right. I'm Matt Holt, Space Nerd, and astronaut, presently back home captured by aliens.
So, uh... hi?
[Maybe this wasn't as good of an idea as he thought when he started.]

Computers power smart phones, have I got that correct?
Amazing... [Shakes his head... and just laughs.] I don't know that I would have believed it very easily either! But I'm from only a few decades after guns were introduced to Japan.
How do... you merge magic and technology?

[There's a bit of wonder in his voice that he can't seem to get out at that.]
So there's a lot that's new to you here, then. Must be one heck of a culture shock.
And... I'm still somewhat figuring it out. I'm finding it easier to do things on computers, and make them do what I want it to. The only real thing I've solidified is the ability to super duper protect people's information on devices or other computers.

I've always wanted to see Europe and more of the world outside of Japan. But I was a bit shocked that people wear shoes indoors. [And that's it. Honestly, the tech he's keeping up with... mostly! And he's definitely over-indulged on sweets. A LOT.]
Ahhhh, a Mitsuhide or Mitsunari type. [AS IF THAT MEANS SOMETHING! But he nods to himself.] I want to do everything. With technology. [DON!] It's difficult to narrow down. I'm still getting used to magic, and all I know is healing... a little. But may I join your meetings to learn more? Obviously you'll want to keep your ninja arts [Secrecy information he means.] to yourself, but anything else... This is the first truly practical magic I've heard of.

A what kind of type? [Now Matt's curious.] I do too! I want to know everything that you can do, and if you'd be interested, I'd love to share what I know.
You're always welcome at whatever meetings I have! I think that getting more people together will always come up with even better ideas.
[There's a pause as Matt's stunned for a moment. Ninja? Him? Nah. That's just odd.]
And... I can teach you how to protect your stuff too. It's not something that I'm keeping from people. Frankly, I think everyone should know how to protect themselves.

Akechi Mitsuhide is my left hand-man. He's one of the few geniuses of my time I'll listen to, and he understands people in a way that I never could. Oh! And he's the only person better at guns than me! Mitsunari is very studious and booksmart, and he's the only person who can put up a decent Go match against me.
Thank you, Lord Matt.
I've no doubt Mitsuhide will appreciate that. [Less for the workaholic to have to deal with.]

I've always wanted to try Go. Dad tried to teach me once, but he got busy, and then I mostly played chess, which I think is a descendent of Go.

I can't promise that I'll be any good right away, but I love to learn, and I have a feeling I'll catch on.

Don't sell yourself short, they're fairly simple games. Easy to learn, complex to master.
