Samurai aren't really a thing anymore. Not sure when that happened. [For that matter, neither are nobility or peasants, by and large, but Shinji's really not prepared to try to explain democracy.

You get money from working, or sometimes from inheriting it. In theory, anyone can work their way up. In practice, it's easier if you're rich and have a penis. Why anyone assumes women can't handle shit, I have no fucking idea. There are people who think working means crime, that's probably never gonna stop happening.

In theory, no one's getting away with murder, either. But in practice it's easier for rich people to buy their way outta trouble. Class shit got a lot more subtle.

Masamune Date's either. There's three -- no four, things you can always count on him for.

1) Cooking. He's one of the best ever. At least that I've ever known.
2) He's always willing to dive to the frontlines as much as any of the Oda clan.
3) He's always late! Especially to war council meetings.
4) He's almost more of a flirt than Takeda Shingen. And that's saying something.

Diving into a fight depends on the fight.

I can definitely do without those things. I mostly tolerate them, only because he's so good at the other two.

Lethal. We don't just hit. Mitsuhide's the only one who shoots better than me, Hideyoshi would conquer everything if I let him, and Mitsunari and Ieyasu fight better with leading into the future. But Masamune dual wields.

I'm fairly certain I can hold my own for killing any threats, but cooking is another story.

I still want to try mochi ice cream.
