[The young woman on the screen has dark hair and large, shockingly violet eyes. She focuses on the camera as if she's looking directly at the person on the other side.]

I want to know if being pulled from other world is something that's happened to anyone here before.

[No preamble, no offering of a name. Poison glances away from the camera for a moment.]

This is the fourth world I've been in since I left my own. It's been four years... I think. [While she's careful to keep the emotion out of her voice, perhaps the act of doing just that might highlight how sensitive this topic is for her. She has an idea of why she can't get home.]

I suppose-- I want to know I'm not the only one who this keeps happening to. ... Thank you.

[That viewpoint certainly seemed to be in the minority here- and Poison was earning some Caster points for feeling that way.]

[She's already had a couple of arguments with people about their blind willingness to barter and toy with the fae creatures here.]

Some people don't know the danger. Some don't care. I can forgive the first, but the second are just idiots.

...But I've made no secret of the fact I believe the leaders here are exploiting us for their own ends.

[She lets out a soft scoffing sound.]

Of course they are. That's been clear from the beginning. [They may be being treated with kindness but it's clear to Poison that they're needed for something, and that their treatment is very likely dependent upon their compliance.]

Anyone who believes otherwise is blind.

Indeed... yet we're in the minority in that regard. Most are willing to trust the leaders here without question.

[A heavy sigh.]

Once the King and court have all they need from us, we'll be discarded as if we meant nothing to them. That is what I believe.

[She doesn't like to hear her own thoughts reflected back at her like this, but she can't deny that she thinks this woman is very much correct. Much like the other places she's been, they are all simply a means to an end brought here to see out a purpose.]

One of the places I've been let us go home. Though that isn't where I ended up.

...I wonder if that is what will become of all of us here- tossed from one strange reality to the next. It doesn't even seem like the Grail's doing this time around.

[It certainly sounded like her and this girl were on the same wavelength about this entire situation, even if Caster had only been in this cycle for a few months.]

[Which... Anchor wasn't all bad. She'd been okay there. Peter was there, for a while. And Carlisle, too, even if he hadn't known her at first. It hadn't been too bad.

She's been set back to the beginning here, and it's so hard to want to try again.]

I'm Poison. That's my name, not something I go by.

[She wouldn't directly ask how Poison had ended up with a name like that, but perhaps she would elaborate.]

I prefer to keep my true name to myself- but most from my world aren't nearly as cautious with theirs as I am with mine.

[She doesn't elaborate. Though she has no issues about doing so, she doesn't consider that the question has been asked.]

Why is that? Would so many people here know who you are?

[Poison would agree, but she doesn't say so. Instead, she lightly presses her lips together and tilts her head very slightly to one side.]

Don't you think you're being paranoid? Most people here probably aren't even from the same realm as you.

...perhaps I am. I know those in the same position as me within this world are far less careful about their true names than I am.

[It isn't that Poison doesn't understand a certain level of caution about names. Her own birth name is a well-kept secret, particularly since everyone she tells seems to disappear.]

Do they know who you are? The people from where you're from, I mean.

Some of them do, some of them don't.

And there are others from worlds similar to mine who would know of it.

And what would they do with your name if they knew it?

[She's curious - something tells her this woman is hiding something because she's ashamed of it.]

...They'd use it against me. After all, in my world, my name is written in legend.

[A small shrug- that wasn't so much a boast, just a statement of fact. But...she certainly didn't want to elaborate on that to a relative stranger.]

Does 'poison' mean something different, in your world?

[Why else would a parent call their child such a thing?]
