Has anyone figured out how to restore their original abilities yet?

I would assume succeeding in our mission will result in our return to our home worlds and, by extension, return of any lost abilities.

[ Riou never had any technically supernatural abilities, so he's not sure, but he's always sure that completing the mission is how you satisfy yourself. Surely, that would work. ]

[casaposa]

[It's a logical answer, even if it's one he doesn't like.]

They would have benefited by finding a way for us to keep our natural talents instead of having us mess around with this nonsense.

[There's a neigh in the background-don't sass him unicorn. Learn some hamon and then they'll talk.]

We could have met our goals far faster.

I cannot speak to that.

[ He didn't lose anything, after all, but he appreciates that the playing field is leveled despite that in some ways. He can imagine losing some of your skills is annoying though. He was very upset when he was no longer allowed to snipe people. ]

[He's never had a power before now by the sound of it. Not uncommon in the least, but he imagines the sensation of gaining an ability of being so wholly normal is odd in itself.]

What power were you given here?

I can speak to animals. As a hunter, it's not ideal.

[ He's learning the names of his dinner now, it's uncomfortable. Not insurmountable, though. ]

You have to look out for your own wellbeing before an animal, but-

That would be difficult to maneuver around.

Yes. I have no intention of becoming a vegetarian. I will need to adjust my strategies. [ Regardless, he'll turn the conversation back around. ] What is yours?

Light magic and whatever that entails. It's a far different power than I'm used to.

[grylls]

That has the potential to be very useful. [ Even without knowing much, lights can have a number of applications in military maneuvers. He would've liked that. ]

So far I'm not impressed, but you may be right. I intend to figure out how to make more powerful.
