The chunk of golden-colored hair that's currently being held in her fist instead of sitting on her head, is what. What's more, Yang looks absolutely pissed.]

Excuse me... [She seethes through gritted teeth] But does anyone know who has a bug familiar with scissors for hands? I'd like to have words with them.

[She takes a deep breath, and then tries to speak more calmly.]

Also, is there anyone out there that can... [she motions to her hair situation] ...help me even this out? I'm new and not sure if there are any hairstylists in this city I can trust just yet.

[Note that there is now a fiery crater in the middle of a street somewhere.]

You sure? I don't think you're being overdramatic, I know I would freak out if I got a big haircut without knowing about it! This is coming from someone who has some long hair.

[Or at least, long enough for a boy.]

I don't know if it will help but I don't think your haircut looks that bad.

[There was a long pause on his end before mumbling to himself]

Ah...you really think so? It seems like the least I could do if people are here and it's best to help one another out.

[Pause] I know a couple of my friends would do the same.

Just because you're following someone else's example doesn't mean you don't deserve any credit for being nice.

The world would be a better place if everyone helped each other out like you said we should.

It would but I know people wouldn't dare as they're afraid of being taken advantage of. They're afraid of being seen as naïve for being too trusting.

Well, you can't let down your guard too much. But I agree, you gotta be willing to let people in and take a risk on them.

[For a moment, Ken wondered if he should pry into this but he might as well try and take the risk right?]

I'm sorry if this sounds a little straightforward but it sounds like you know from experience.

Let's just say I've been tricked or turned on by people I previously thought were friends. But I also wouldn't have my closest friend if I gave up on her after we had difficulty. So you gotta be willing to ride it out, give people a chance... and another one, if necessary.

Wait, how did you get tricked or turned on by those people? I'm sorry, you are going to have to explain in it detail.

[Pause]

... I don't know if I can give it in detail, but. There's been people who weren't who they said they were and abused my friends and I's trust to undermine and attack us. As for the ones who turned on us, well. They did that because we refused to go along with something unjust.

[For a moment, Ken didn't say anything. At he wondered what a certain someone would say in this situation, he wondered something to himself.]

It really does sound like it was a lot for you and your friends. It makes me wonder just how dangerous your world is.

I won't lie. There's a lot of danger where we come from. But... it's the only world we have. That's why I wanted to be someone who protected the people living in it.

[For a moment, Ken didn't say anything. As he looked at the screen, he couldn't help but chuckle.]

You know, that sure sounds a lot like someone from an action move would say. I guess you can say you're the protagonist of your own story if you're this determined!

Oh hey, thanks. But I dunno about being the protagonist. The real hero is my sister, Ruby! She's our team's leader.

Oh really? Even if she is the leader, that doesn't mean you can't be the hero either! I think you have an equal say too!

[Pause]

Because that's something my leader would say too!

... Heh, I guess you're right. But it's more important to do what's right in the moment than worry about being a hero, I think.

Which also sounds a lot like what a superhero would say in a movie too!

[With that, he gave a chuckle.] I'm not going to lie, you sound pretty cool right now.
