[Robyn has fiddled around with her phone for the past few days, and she's gradually figured out a few ways she can use it. Having done so, she decides to go to the network for advice. It still feels pretty weird to be so open about what she's going to ask.]

to anyone who has animal magic...can you already use it to turn into animals? i can't do it the way i did it back home, so i've tried other ways, but it doesn't work for me yet. does anyone have any advice?

another question. does anyone here know much about wolves? i

[She's hit enter by accident before she can finish her sentence, since she's a little nervous about admitting this where anyone could read it, even if everyone here has magical abilities.]

i already know a few things about being one, but i still want to learn more about them, if i can.

really? so is mine! but she's not always around and she doesn't like to talk much. [At least Merlyn is there for her to talk to, and this time she can actually understand him instead of just having one-sided conversations.]

what do you know about wolves?

I read up on them while in Chaldea, and I learned all sorts of things! Hunting habits of various species, pack dynamics, mating habits, how they care for their young, etc.

i have a friend back home who lives with wolves, and they all live in a pretty big pack. she usually just bosses them all around, though.

there are other kinds of wolves? i didn't know that.

Different species pop up in different regions! There was a pack that lived near our castle back in Orkney, and some that inhabited the forests around Camelot, as well.

[ No one's told her that wolves were now extinct in Britain... ]

[All the wolves will go extinct in about a hundred years where Robyn's from, but thankfully she's from before that happens.]

is your camelot different from this one?

[There is that whole "other worlds" thing, after all.]

Very different. Frustratingly so. It's even stranger that my King is here, but they aren't recognized in this realm.

you're not one of the knights of the round table, are you? like in all the stories?

[It takes a minute or two before Robyn replies, just because she has to process what she just read.]

you're really a knight of the round table?

i never thought i'd ever get to actually meet one! i've heard so many stories about you!

[ If only Robyn could see the way she was beaming and blushing. ]

I do suppose we're quite renowned. But I'd say we are only so because our King recognized us as having worth to the people.

i bet you are, with the things you've all done.

[Not like the soldiers who put people in the stocks for badmouthing the Lord Protector.]

i heard this one story where you went to the red lands to defeat the red knight. did you really do that?

[beaumains]

Yes! That was the quest to save Lady Lyonesse! It actually wound up being a great deal more complicated, in the end, but that's also the quest that earned me my place at the Round Table!

that's amazing! what other quests have you gone on?

[If Robyn's able to meet the real deal like this, she may as well ask.]

[ Gareth was happy to list plenty off, though she was a bit scant on the details to keep things brief. And because the Red Knight is the only one I can remember. ]

Ah, I guess I've done a lot in my short time with the knighthood. Three years go by really quick, I guess.

that's still a lot of great things in three years!

i wish that kind of knight was still around where i'm from. the soldiers who work for the lord protector just push people around.

Well that's hardly chivalrous behavior. I wish I could say I was surprised but I've seen my fair share of rude knights in my time, too.

And beat every last one of them in jousts and duels.

i bet you could beat those soldiers if you wanted. even if they used muskets, they probably wouldn't even hit you.

[Mostly because muskets are notoriously hard to aim with.]

Well it's not particularly chivalrous to go about picking fights.

But you're right, I could.

i know, i know. everyone says you shouldn't go around picking fights.

sometimes it would be nice to just show them a thing or two, though.
