[The video starts out zoomed in really close on a boy's eyeball, catching him mid-sentence.]
--thing working? [A brief pause.] ...Ah! Cool, I think I got it working.
[A brief pause, as the camera pans back to catch a full glimpse of his face.]
Anyway, I dunno how common it is to do this sort of thing when you're new, but I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Bennett, of Benny's Adventure Team! ...Err, I guess that last part doesn't really matter yet. But it leads into my question.
[Another pause, as he considers his words.]
You see, I know this place has things like school, and jobs, but... What I'm really all about is adventuring! You know, traveling the countryside, diving into the darkest depths of caverns and domains, all for the sake of finding treasure and uncovering the lost secrets of the world... That sort of thing? [He speaks with so much passion and love for his chosen "profession" in life.]
There's gotta be so much of this world out there just waiting to be discovered, right? So, umm... What I wanted to know was, there are other people here who feel the same way, right? I'm not the only one who's already itching to explore... Right?
[In other words, he's trying to find adventuring buddies.]

I couldn't really stop myself. Just thinking about all the mysteries out there, just waiting to be discovered, 's got me all pumped!

You already have what it takes to be a leader. I'm wondering why your team decided to take a break when you're this hyped for adventure.

[He already had a feeling something like this would happen. For someone who is so hyped over adventure, there’s no way his team went and took a break without a reason.]

...I'm cursed. Have been my whole life. Bad luck follows me wherever I go. I get into accidents because of it, it makes my adventures go poorly...

Bennett-san, I don’t know how you manage to have bad luck but maybe it wouldn’t apply here.
[Because bad luck is something he’s pretty familiar with so many deaths happening his way.]
I hope that your adventures go well here. If anything, I’ll help you out remember?

[He may sound like he's being down on himself, but that's just the way things were for him. Bad luck was just part of his life.]
But even when things go poorly for me, I don't let it stop me from chasing my dreams.

Bennett-san, that really is something admirable. I have to admit, I'm kind of amazed you still manage to keep your spirits high despite all that bad luck you've gone though!
[Especially when looking back at Ken's own bad luck, he just turned his anger into revenge.]
You're going to have to teach me how to be so optimistic sometime because I could sure use it.

[Bennett was caught off-guard by Ken's response to him. Here he was feeling sorry for himself over his unending bad luck, and yet Ken was still supporting him.]
...Heh. Maybe I'm not so unlucky. Looks like I've already made some good friends here, after all.

It wouldn’t be fair to not say something about being optimistic during difficult times. I had my share of my bad too.
