[Alice presses her lips together and is surrounded by many trees. Her eyes are a bit red and she swallows and takes a deep breath. She's clearly trying to have a "stiff upper lip" as it were.]

I... don't mean to worry anyone...

But I do believe I'm lost.

If I show someone everything around me, might you please point the way back, perhaps?

The only monster at the moment here is YOU. [She hisses, picking up a wad of dirt with her powers and lobbing it, again, at Karma's head.] That was a mean and nasty thing you did!

You should be ashamed of yourself! [Her anger would be SLIGHTLY more effective if her teeth weren't chattering between all her words.]

[intrapid]

I should be, yeah!

[ He brings his arm up to block the dirt, some of it getting onto his face and his hair but whatever gets on his parka seems to drip off with the rain.

He is not ashamed, knows it was a mean and nasty thing he did, and accepts being called a monster. All Alice gets for all her berating is a grin. ]

I'm sorry, okay? I won't do it again! Now are you done throwing your tantrum?

[She hugs her cloak around her tighter, shivering.]

That depends entirely on whether you're going to keep being cruel.

[She chatters. She's not sure she believes he is sorry, not in the slightest, not with a smile like THAT.]

Because if you're not done being cruel, I have PLENTY of earth around me.

[intrapid]

[ He doesn't stop laughing, but it does die down a little... with the flipside being that his grin widens. ]

There's plenty of earth here and you know how to use it, so how come you got lost? Come on, let's see you raise the earth up from below our feet so it's like we're standing on a mountain.

If you want to feel so big, go eat the proper side of a mushroom.

[Besides, men like him didn't need to feel somehow grander. She frowned.]

What do you have, then? Do it yourself if you're so fond of the idea of it.

[ Wha...

Did this little girl just tell him to get high off shrooms? ]

Nothing as cool as moving mountains. Besides, I'm not lost.

... No... No, you're not.

T-Thank you for coming to get me... even if it did result in you making me drenched.

[intrapid]

Yeah... That's the cost of being rescued. Unavoidable, really.

[ It's been raining! The forest is full of wet trees and grass and he's rather surprised Alice isn't drenched to the bones to begin with. ]

Anyways, don't thank me until we're out of the forest. It sounds like you've been out here a while, but are you okay to keep walking? Or run, if you want to get out before it gets too dark and cold... I'd rather not camp out here if we can avoid it.

[Staying mostly OUT of the forest for most of the day does help with that.

But then he presents her with quite a quandary. If she walks, she'll be out in the dark and she's scared of the dark. But she's been walking ALL day. She's not sure she has the energy to run, let alone not make herself MORE exhausted with the act. But she DOESN'T want to camp out here.]

I... don't wish to camp either. [But she's honestly not sure she can run.]

[intrapid]

[ He could carry her, but. He does not want to, unless they get ambushed by a bear fir or regular bear and he has no other choice. ]

Nothing to it. I guess we're camping! How are you with wind? We're gonna have to get some of these branches dry to make a fire.

I'm not camping with you. [She manages out through chattering teeth.] I'm not staying out here all night after you got me soaking wet.
